Title: Non-pony shipping question
Post by: MaronaPossessed on April 20, 2014, 01:03:28 PM
Hello arena. I shipped back my defective phone to Texas (and that's just near Louisiana) and I got a text message from Verizon, saying that they still haven't received the phone and will charge me 500 dollars or more if they don't get it, but disregard the message if I shipped it.

Tracking number is 9302020177200012767763 . It hasn't been updated out of state for 3 days. Do Easter holidays make the USPS busy? Should I worry? I mean Texas is next door to Louisiana!>_<

Have you called Verizon and given them the tracking number to show that you have shipped it? Normally with big companies like that its best to speak to them directly and just keep them up to date on what is going on. A tracker number should be enough to show them you have done what you should and its just a matter of USPS catching up.

I got that message, too, even though they had already received my phone. It's an automated message they send everyone. You really should not have to worry. You should get another message tomorrow saying they received it. If you don't, I would call their customer service number.

Thanks guys. Apparently the latest update has it shown as delivered. I didn't receive the text message saying they got it, but hopefully it'll show up

EDIT: Verizon sent me a message saying they received it! woo!

I got both of my messages on the same day within 10 minutes of each other. It was really weird. But I am glad they finally sent your message confirming they received it.
