I recently bought a pony from ebay where the seller described the pony as being Italian. The pictures did not show the stamp under the feet but the hairline looked Italian to me (i.e. the forelock comes a long way down between the eyes) so I went ahead and got her.
When she arrived I was puzzled to see that she was not stamped Italy as my other Italian ponies are, but made in China! Is this just a "bog standard" Good Weather, is there even such a thing as an Italian version of this pony, or do the Italian versions of this pony come with China stamped on them? Does anyone know?
Would be grateful for any info...pics can also be provided if needed. Thanks :)

Unfortunately, there isn't a Good Weather made in Italy. By that stage in the line, Italy didn't make their own, so the ponies are made in China, but have Italian language on the packaging.

Good Weather doesn't have a forelock, she has two rows of plugs :)
Whilst the double row of plugs is an indication a pony may be Italian (or from another nirvana country) you have to go by other features such as eyes, hoof marks etc to determine the country of manufacture.
I'm sorry the pony hasn't turned out who you hoped it would be, buying nirvana ponies is always a bit risky.

Oops sorry, yes, I didn't mean forelock! She does indeed have a double row of plugs. Thanks PKW : )
It's okay that she's not an Italian because I wanted to buy a Good Weather pony anyway so now I have one! :)
Thanks for the info Lady Guinevere and PKW - much appreciated!
