Okay, let me explain. I'm going as a female Sonic the Hedgehog to a costume party in a week, and I have everything I want for it, EXCEPT, blue Hair extentions.
I was toying with using dollyhair, as I have some Bobby Blue that would look pretty fetching for a sonic cosplay, but I'm not sure how to apply it. I don't feel like struggling with bobby pinning it in like I've done in the past, as they always seem to slide out because my hair is so straight and slick, and rubber bands may make some awkward bunching. Could I glue in a piece or two? I've heard some horror stories, but as I've never tried it, might as well ask.
Has anyone had success using dolly hair for their own outfits? Advise?

I have zero experience with this kinda thing, but I know I saw a youtube once where a girl demonstrated how to make your own hair extensions with a sewing machine? Maybe that would work?

Could you maybe use a bit of your hair and use a short partial braid to braid the ends of it in?
