Title: Greetings from a newbie
Post by: vintage pups on February 27, 2014, 05:53:24 AM: Hi I'm new to the forum and reside in the UK at the moment.

Although I had a bucketful of MLP when I was a child in the late 80s and early 90s, due to unfortunate circumstances I lost all of my childhood toys except my box of Puppy/kitty in my pocket.

Now that I am happily settled as a housewife I'd like to start to collect G1 ponies, mainly the ones I had a child :)
I do still have my IMPs though and would gladly love to hear from other collectors.
I look forward to being a member of this site and meeting like minded people.

I think a lot of us start out by replacing their childhood collection - and then just keep right on buying, lol. I know I found it very exciting as an adult being able to finally buy all of the ponies I desperately wanted as a child but never got! Enjoy the forums :frolic:

I am so sorry you lost your childhood ponies but at least you were able to keep a hold of some of the toys most important to you and you will be quick to add to your collection through the Arena no doubt!

I'm excited to expand my pony collection and I'm doing ok at getting bargains from Ebay!

I'm North Scotland, near Inverness :biggrin:
