Title: New line of Diamond Select toys pony figures

A misterious line of upcoming new figures has been spotted. Nothing more is for now known, only that the company, Diamond Select Toys seem to be specialyzed in high quality figures for a lot of shows and fandoms.

Hope that they cost a reasonable price…Seems to be much better (and imagine more expensive) than the Funko ones...

Diamond ST do already have a licence agreement with Hasbro for several lines - including collectable GI Joe figures that they have done in the past. With their close ties to the comic sector and MLPs phenomenal success there, it probably makes great sense for them to launch an MLP line. I cant wait to see more!

I would buy these in a heartbeat! And from their website it seems like the standard price for Diamond figures is $25 - not bad!
Here's hoping they don't come with the QC issues that Funkos and brushables usually have.

On the bright side, Rarity and hat-correct AJ in what we can assume is their first release of the line is a true nod to fans! :D I know my friend will love love love that Rarity.

This is a contradiction on himself. Hasbro DON´T make licenced products, simply they rent the license at others, and forgot the thing.

And the reality is that the brushes go tageted for the kids, and hasbro think in that terms. Not the collectors.

If they are fan/collector-oriented (and it looks like they are) they will probably come out with fan favorite ponies (please make a Luna!). :D

Fluttershy looks good from the angle in the first picture, but the angle in the second pictures shows a very strange facial expression. Applejack looks good except for the broken neck pose, lol.

ROFL this was my thought. We are relatively easy to please as collectors - just some more characters. Unfortunately I think Hasbro is working on the basis of toys for kids, merch for bronies...and forgetting about us in the middle :(

Rarity is nice, I guess, but I totally dislike the new stand. Mountain stream from the prototype was much better.

Rarity is the one I liked. I am drawing a bit of blank but I am sure I saw another picture of her floating around somewhere or a listing for her. Something makes me hope it means she is still coming...it may have been a picture from Comic Con.

These are banks, yep. The money is stored in the base.

Yay! Thats good to know :) I actually think it may have been in xeevees CC pictures now that you confirm the source. She is the one I want!
