I want to see your Glow 'n Shows!
I especially want to see any variation types you have - such as Blue/Pink Dazzle, Atomic Turquoise/Water Nixie Happy Glow, etc etc etc.
Please make me drool! :dribble:

Miss Violet how did you get your Glow n Show ponies to show up in the dark? When I tried to get a picture of mine glowing they didn't turn out.

Ponyfan, for getting 'glow and the dark' sorts of things to show up on a camera, you need to take a long exposure shot. Celphone cameras are probably not going to be able to do this, and best bet is a full manual camera.
In the dark, you're probably going to need to set your aperture pretty open either F6 or larger, maybe even F4.5 with a timed delay of at least 1second on the shutter, and going by the blur in Miss Violet's, she may have gone for even 2 or 3 second shutter. ( In which case you'll need a pitch black room with the ONLY light coming from the ponies glowy bits )
My camera has a 30second shutter delay! It's amazing! I use it for taking pictures of lightning and stars, but it's very hard! I should try this with my two Glow and Shows, since I have a tripod. >D Unfortunately I don't have a remote for my DSLR ( it doesn't take the old-fashion screw in remote ) so I can still get camera shake in the picture when I first press the shutter. :<
I'm looking for Starglow ( both variants ) and then the two pink heart variants of Dazzleglow. I have Bright glow and Bluehearts Dazzleglow. I don't much care for Happy Glow's pose or colors, though, so I don't need her. ^^
-
Are there any "confirmed" variations out there of Bright Glow? I actually have different looking versions of all the other three gals, but only one of Bright Glow, I feel like she needs a companion, lol!
-
Oh, pretty! I really like the show n glows! I have 2/4 so far. Still need Bright Glow and Happy Glow.
Prepares to stalk thread for more glowy goodness ;)

Thank you MiRaja. I got the posts mixed up and was looking at No Divison's glow picture and thought Miss Violet posted it. Oops. What are the Starglow variants? I knew Dazzleglow had one but not Starglow.

WOW! I feel like the biggest dope! I had no idea these actually glowed in the dark, I thought "glow" was a reference to how the light passes through the translucent plastic... okay now I want them all, I have a thing for glow in the dark toys!! I am imagining having a nice shelf with a small blacklight installed above. Pony rave party!

Oh my goodness, I love all of these pictures, but especially the glow-in-the-dark rehairs! :inlove:

Ponyfan
Starglow has a variant with a greener body, she also has white hair with the yellow versus the melon/heartthrob color hair. She's popped up loose once, and once on the card ( definitive proof she's a variant versus a fade out ).

I love Glow N Show :dribble: :dribble: :dribble: I have Dazzleglow and Bright Glow (my Bright Glow's hair must be made of silk, it's SO soft! ) I'd like to get an upgrade for my Dazzleglow since she has frizzy hair and her horn is discolored. I can be a tad choosy about this set for some reason and I've only found a few that are the *perfect* ones... but I was too slow and missed out on a beautiful Happy Glow :P Still waiting to find that perfect Dazzleglow upgrade :)
I LOVE the glow in the dark and blacklight pictures! Could stare at them all day :) I noticed my Dazzleglow glowing on my top shelf one night and was thouroughly freaked out because normally I can't see her... she was unusually bright that night along with blind bag Rarity
More pictures pleeeeease
-
Oooh one of my fave G1 is Dazzle Glow! Still need a mint normal Dazzle Glow.
She has atleast two variatons, and i think she has some hair color variations too? :P
Love this thread.

Wysteria, I think I have all the same variants you do, am I to take it that you haven't found a Bright Glow variation as of yet either?
I am LOVING these pics guys!! I just cleaned my gals up and hope to take a photo now that they're all spa-d up and sparkling! But keep 'em coming!!
-
I've always wanted a Glow 'n Show, and these pictures are making me want one even more!
-
LOVE the Glow n' Shows!
I would completely recommend them to anyone. All these photos are amazing! It makes me want to get all the variants & inspires me to rehair as well. All of your GNS are so lovely.
I have all 4, but doubles of only one.
When I got her, all her hair had been sun rotted, so it basically fell apart/brittle & she needed all new hair. Because I thought I wouldn't find another of this fairly expensive pony, I went with original color hair after DH started carrying that specific yellow she needed. Bad old camera pictures ahoy:

Because the rehair is a slightly lighter greenish color.
I ended up being able to find a pretty much mint one on a lot later on. (hooray!)

I can't resist these. Even if I get like a zillion to restore I think I'd end up keeping on keeping them.
