So a couple of weeks ago I received a Pinkie Pie that I ordered from the Netherlands, I was expecting her to be the big version of the fabric haired plushies but when she arrived she was absolutely massive! Being a huge fan of giant ponies I was over the moon about her but I cant seem to find anything about her online. I'm pretty sure there was a Sunnydaze released who was the same size and that she was available as a carnival prize, I think there may have also been a Rainbow Dash too? But I've never seen or heard anything about this Pinkie, can anyone help?
Here she is (sorry about the photo quality, I only have my webcam)

I can't help on info, well this may count as info.
When I was little, my parents and I took a vacation to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
We went to an arcade/ice rink on top of the mountain. I remember there was a balloon pop thing, and the big prizes were the giant plushies like the Pinkie Pie you got. I recall a Rainbow Dash, Sunny Daze, Minty, and Pinkie Pie. there were also small ones like the size of the G1 Plushies. I really wanted a giant Rainbow Dash, but my dad tried to get me one but ended up getting one of the smaller ones. :)
Sadly, I don't know what happened to her :(
I have pictures somewhere but that was about 8 years ago!

She's a carnival toy. :D I remember seeing Sparkleworks too!

Thank you both so much!

I actually have the exact same one! I had no information on her so this thread is super useful. I was thinking of selling mine soon. If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for her?

She was made by a company called Nanco, who specialized in carnival/amusement park prizes. (Nanco has since been bought out by Rhode Island Novelty).
Here are some images I saved from Nanco's web site (several years ago):

They were made in a variety of sizes. These are the sizes that were listed on the Nanco website (several years ago).
1st release:
Rainbow Dash, Sunny Daze, Sparkleworks, and Pinkie Pie were made in the following sizes:
7", 9", 10", 14", 16", 21", 26.5", 38", 42"
2nd release:
Minty, Sweetberry, Sunny Daze, and Sparkleworks were made in the following sizes:
8", 10", 11", 14", 16", 22", 29", 38", 42"
There were at least 2 more releases in laying down sizes. I did not copy down the size information, and I can't seem to find it on the web.
Having collected several of them over the years, I have found regular versions, shimmer versions, and even 4 different types of eyes!

I only paid 7 Euros for her but she had a rip on her belly so she may be worth more.
Thanks for your help everyone, I've never seen one so I dont think we had them as prizes in England, I actually have the little lying down Rainbow Dash too I love these!

We had a different manufacturer over here for Fairground Toys :) PMS and Whitehouse normally are the big prize suppliers. But sometimes they worked to the same pattern designs hence why they turn up in lots of different locations and some shows are run by international companies who purchase from international leisure product suppliers.

Holy cow, all of those plushies! I wanna make a big pony pile and get cozy in them. I'd clean it up afterward, I promise! X3
