There was an auction with an South African Starshine. It ended pretty cheap I think. How many does that make for South African Starshine now??

I think it did go much lower than expected but the seller did not have it listed openly internationally. I only knew about the auction because some one linked me to it. It certainly did not ever show up on ebay UK and I dont think on ebay US either.

I think there are now several Starshines, I've seen at least three now :)

Someone got a great deal :) if the auction had been more widely seen she would have sold for a little more I think.

 :sad: I was bidding and was pipped on the last second, kicking myself for not putting on higher autobid (but I'm used to the different system we have with our NZ online auction site, where the auction auto extends if people bid at last second).  But Whahoo and huge congrads to the new owner!  Enjoy her  :biggrin: she looks so fantastic! What a find!  whoop whoop

This was the auction where I found out I was blocked  :shocked:

I'm kinda glad she didn't go full value because of that, I've never done anything in my life worthy of being blocked, on ebay or anywhere!! I told her so too, when I figured out why she'd done it, but I would have bid, so her loss at any rate. great deal for the winner, I hope they pop their head in so I can congratulate them wholeheartedly!

I saw her auction in the first few days but didn't catch the end. What a pretty girl and lucky new owner, she'll clean up beautifully. ^.^

Congrats to whoever won!  She looks really lovely!

I also have an SA Starshine who I bought from an auction site here in South Africa.
