Went to a fleamarket yesterday and found not only one, but TWO Love Letter-ponies (the one I needed - the better one needs her leg fixed tho'. She is having some troubles standing herself), yay ^^ Bought some other ponies aswell..incl. Mommy and Daddy Bright Bouquet (in poooor shape). Decieded to try to clean them (I'm not good at this - I'm afraid of water running inside if them and mess them up) :blush: Soft toothbrush and toothpaste is AWESOME!!
Found out one of my Apple Delight Mommy's is a NC (where's she from then?) and some Italian girls... I love fleamarkets :D!
I still need to figure out how to remove Gusty's "eyeshadow". WHO WOULD DO THIS?? Grrr, kids :P
So, lots of bait aswell!

Uhmm... The softest toothbrush I know of (some vets use 'em for dogs) :blush:
And then some whitening toothpaste (not gel)..
Brushed them all over (really careful around marks/symbols) and I used the spare shampoo from the hairwash on the rest of the body to wash the toothpaste off :)
-just had to try SOMETHING and I have no experience :P

Thanks ^^ Well, most of them.. But I only have normal hairshampoo and toothpaste etc. in the house, so some of them could prolly be better with 'the right tools'. But I think it's a good start :D!

whitening toothpaste is my AK47 when i deal with very difficult situations !
I like to use simple toothpaste just for regular dirt treatment. :)

First off (thanks for your message) ^^ Yes, she is Italian... I wasn't going to make her bait - she does have some big black marks on the NDS I hope I can remove ^^

It IS on both her eyes and it looks soooo bad (looks even worse irl) haha :P Need to get it off of her!!!

Yes :D I've had love token since my childhood (and she stands as MINT) - the other 3 came from 2 fleamarkets and an auction on the net :) And thank you ^^

I can totally relate to being afraid I'll mess up my ponies when I clean them! (I just know I'll make them gross and moldy or accidentally wipe an eye or symbol off.) Perhaps I'll feel brave enough to give some of my childhood ponies a thorough cleaning one of these days....... :unsure:

Haha, yup... That's me in a nutshell aswell :P But I never "drown them" in water - just rinse the soap off of them. I try to use very little water :P And afterwards I'm always like "PLZ don't get mold-marks... Plz plz plz" haha :P
