Hello :)
I've just uncovered some G1's I had bought a couple of years ago that I ended up having to put into storage and was identifying a few of them (With the help of my fiance... I'm turning him into a brony... Slowly but surely! Walked in on him plaiting their hair earlier! Eeep!)
But in looking through the different versions of Bow-Tie I've become confused, I was under the allusion she was just a regular version. But her colours don't add up?
I have no way of putting a picture up at the moment.
She appears to be a rehair but her body is in immaculate condition with her cutie mark near mint.
The cutie mark appears to be white, along with her freckles but her hair is pink (That light pink that I can't remember the name of!)
According to a website which I'm not sure if I can or can not name, it says that the standard earth pony versions, both long and short hair have pink cutie marks.
Could someone help me please? I think I've been out of this too long!!
Thank you in advance!

The bows are definately white... I'm not sure about the hair though.
Is it just a standard version yeah?
:) Thank you

Bowtie does not have fading pink hair. Thankfully! But the pink paint in her symbols DOES fade very easily. :) There is a longer-haired, curly hair version and a straight hair version as far as the regular Hong Kong releases go. Yours looks like a normal Bowtie - the hair looks to be longer so I would guess her curls have fallen out...

I concur. ;) Looks like normal Bowtie to me.

Yup, garden-variety Bow-Tie; her symbols are highly prone to fading, poor gal, to the point where they easily turn white if she gets a lot of sun exposure. Her freckles were white to begin with, though, if I recall correctly.

I have found it difficult to find a Bowtie with still-pink symbols, they are very prone to fading.

She is lovely :) What a great pony to have in your collection. As others have said she is just the regular version with faded symbols - that dang red pigment is notorious for it!
