Welcome to the 3rd OT Sticker swap!
Hello and Welcome back if you joined us previously! This will be the 3rd year that Iv hosted this swap, and I’m pleased to say it’s been nothing but fun and great memories each time, lets pull off another great swap!

So it's pretty obvious what this swap is all about. :p But there are a few things I should clear up. This is an OFF TOPIC swap. That does not mean NO my little ponies, but just know it is not the main focus of this swap. If your partner lists them as a like then you're more than welcome to include them, but some people may wish to have NO pony themes. Please respect your partners wishes. The secret phrase is Puffy Stickers. This is a secret partner swap so please DO NOT reveal to your partner who you are! If you have any direct questions for your partner you can ask through me, you can also ask indirect questions in the forum topic. Please take your time when shopping, you have a month to shop for stickers, and I will not be giving shipping information until the date listed below, unless there is a reason you may need to ship early.

Important Dates:
Sign up: Feb 1st - Feb 23rd (or as soon as approved)
Arranging and assigning partners: Feb 23rd - Feb 28th
Start Shopping: March 1st (or as soon as you get your partner)
Check in w/photo: week of March 16th
Start Shipping: March 24th (this is when i send you shipping info)
Shipping deadline: March 30th (please plan if shipping internationally)

Rules and Requirements:
~You need to be at least 16 years old
~have at least 3 positive feedback (Ebay can count for 1)
~have been an arena member for 3 months
~your partner will be a surprise so don't tell them who you are!
~minimum spending $20, this does not include extras or shipping.
~forum activity is mandatory! People will be asking questions to get a better idea of what type of things their partner is interested in, it’s important for you to answer as many as you can.
~make a Q&A post that you can modify throughout this swap, that way its easier for your partner to find, and I can link them on the main post.
~stickers should either be new unopened or individual unused sheets
~opened stickers should be unused sheets these would count as $1 each of the minimum price.
(This price is adjustable of course, if you bought something from, etsy or ebay, you KNOW how much you paid)
~opened stickers that are cut up, or stickers from your own collection, would be counted as extras, and not part of the above spending minimum.
(Please consult your partner’s application and Q&A page before including cut up stickers, some people really do not like them.)
~non sticker extras are welcome but shouldn't be the focus and are also not counted in the spending price.
~shipping is not counted in the spending price.
~Leave feedback once you get your package! I’ll be enforcing this.

Extra information:
I understand that LIFE happens and its not always convenient. Please contact me ASAP if you cant complete this swap, So that I can make arrangements for all swap people involved. Remember there are 3 people involved for every swap member. you, the person you're sending to and the person sending to you. Also because this is a smaller swap, it might be harder for me to avoid paring up international shipping, if you absolutely don't think you can ship international then ill do my best.

Wow, judging from the brag pics this seems to be an awesome swap!

Thats great! PM me if you would still like to do a mini swap before this one kicks off, unless youve already got a trade/sale in the works from someone else. If not, it wouldnt even really need to be a sticker swap, just anything small and fun. :p


I think Ill be PM'ing a mod soon, it looks like weve got a decent amount of interest. I told myself that If at least 10 people wanted to do this, then id go to a mod about approval. xD Iv just got to finish the last few details for the swap info, but not a whole lot has changed. :)

If you haven't screwed up an address at least once in your life, you aren't shipping enough lol.

I've forgotten floor numbers, Used the word apartment instead of apt (and it actually got returned, as no such address >.<) It happens and all you can do is laugh and correct your mistake and move on.

Im surprised I haven't messed up more addresses. Instead of switching letters around - I do it with numbers. Its like dyslexia but with numbers. I dont know if there is such a thing exists but I am convinced I have it. I had a job at Sears putting up the sales signs via serial number and it was a nightmare for me. I either wouldnt find the items or I would put them in the wrong places. One time I put a 1200 dollar craftman tool chest on sale for $350 :shocked: because to me the serial numbers matched but in reality I had switched 2 numbers that were in the middle.

I was in the swap last year, and it looked like the questions hadn't changed, so I tracked down last year's application(I never delete anything), and just added/deleted/changed it where appropriate:p  I also found the link to last year's question round up which I added into the wishlist. 

It turned out to be a pretty massive and detailed wishlist.  I kind of feel bad about that(sort of feels like I'm being greedy), but last year I was partnered with someone who wasn't really into giving details.  It made things a lot harder, and at the end of it basically had to guess on at least half the box.  If you haven't done this swap before, remember to go into CRAZY detail!  It'll make things easier on whoever gets your wishlist:)   And of course you're increasing the chances that you'll get a great box:p

Also, for anybody who is looking to track down last year's application, sign ups were around this time last year.  I submitted mine on Feb. 20th last year.  Just check your sent messages around that time(mid-late Feb), and it should still be there unless you deleted it.  Recycling the old application and building on it saved me A LOT of time.  Just make sure you update the secret phrase!

I tend to keep everything.  It can be a problem sometimes.  I have emails from 1997 in my hotmail account:p  Doing a search for an email can be a real trip down memory lane.

The link to the questions round-up will still work.  You could always try to cobble together some stuff from there.  If you click your name on the first post, it'll bring up all your answers to all the questions from last year.  I *loved* that!

And yeah I only made slight changes to the application, I couldnt really think of anything else to add to it lol, but if you think I should add something let me know, Ill try and include it in next years. But yeah! dont feel greedy if you make a huge list! xD No one expects you to buy eeeeverything on there, its just good to have way more ideas then not have enough. :P

Also at this point, if you think of anything you would like to add to your application just pm me and I can add it! I keep a master file of everyones applications on my computer just in case, it also helps in arranging partners. :) Otherwise you can also add it to your Q&A post later. ^^

Well... maybe the scent has faded?  Or perhaps it's due to your current battle with the flu (is it making you congested)?

Silly Inuyasha, foxes are supposed to have bigger ears than dogs (well than Akita Inu at least)!

My sister surprised me with the cutest stickers the other day! I thought I'd share some pics with you guys. :)

The pony stickers are really cute. I love the princess stickers, I had never seen them before.
Edit: You can't really tell from the pic. The princess stickers are 3D, kind of like a bubble. And have this glossy look to them. They are so pretty.

Sorry about my somewhat inactive-ness lately.
I had invited my nephews over a few weekends ago, one of them seemed to get sick (coughing) as soon as my sister pulled out of the driveway she lives so far away though I didnt want to call her back unless he was seriously sick, anyway they still had fun, and it kept me pretty busy, but then my mom and my son got sick, basically I watched this travel around my house, I hope I can avoid it lol.

Anyway! I know you're all patiently awaiting your partners, and you WILL have them sometimes today! I just wanted to keep you all updated as to why its taken me so long. :) Thanks for understanding!

I've never seen Lisa Frank stuff before I came on the arena. From what I've seen though, the illustrations are incredibly cute!

Tell me about your pets!

I have two cats and a dog. My older cat is Nimbus, and he is a big white cloud of a cat. He weighs like thirty pounds and a lot of that is muscle. He's part siamese and very vocal, but his favourite thing to do besides demanding food is to lay on his back with his paws in the prayer position. He is super affectionate. He also loves babies and lets them manhandle him and seeks them out.

The younger cat (by a few years) is French Fry, who I picked up at a vet office when I was working there. She likes to lick people, she purrs when you enter the room, and she is also friendly. Her favourite thing to do is sleep and she is often flattened by sunbeam. She has a way of sleeping so that she looks like bread dough with ears. She is white with a grey patch on her back and head that look like a cape and cowl. She has kind of a vague look, like she's not sure what's going on, and she'll never be bigger than a kitten. She doesn't play with toys, but she'll wrestle your shadow.

My dog is a black lab/spaniel cross named Oswald and she loves everyone ever. She also likes to play with the cats and lick them. She is like a little sister. For some reason she has a phobia of big flat things. She likes to sleep on the floor with a pillow under her head that she'll steal from places. She has only ever destroyed five items that were not her own toys. When you are trying to work, she will sometimes come and put her chin on your knee and it is heart-meltingly sweet.

Small cute things! Or colourful things. If it's something to be used, I do a lot of writing and arting. I also love playing cards and tarot stuff.

This'll be my questions post :)

If you like stationery, what kind of stationery do you like? Pens/sticky notes/etc?
I LOVE STICKY NOTES. I like stationary too! Stuff like rubbers and pens! Pens with ink that smells, I love those! Little notebooks too, especially pony ones ;)

What are your favorite animals?
Foxes! Wolves, cats, eagles, colourful birds, shiba inus, deer, alpacas and horses. As for mythical creatures, dragons are way up the top, I also like gryphons, hippogryphs, phoenixes, centaurs, naga, and minotaurs.

Tell me about your pets!
I have a very evil, loving kitten called Medli! She's not even a kitten anymore, she's like 2.

Ideally, what would you like to see in your package as extras?  Basically, what would make your package a huge hit?
Anything pony related would be loved in an instant. Anything in my list and on this page I would love!

What types of things(themes or particular kinds of items) do you really not want to see in your package?

Anything with insects, unless they are really cute cartoon insects. Sporty things or actors.

Would you like to see any pony items in your box(stickers or extras)?  If so, what kind of items, and which ponies are your favorite?
Yes and yes! I would be a kid in a candy store if you sent me any pony stickers or any G1/G3/G4 merch.

Would you like Disney stuff?  If so, what characters are your favorites, and what type of items would you like to see?
Not a massive fan of the Disney Princess line except for Mulan, but I love all of Disneys movies, especially Wreck it Ralph. I know this isn't Disney but I really like Kung-Fu Panda too.

Would you be interested in items(candies, small toys, stationary, etc) from other countries and/or cultures?  If so, what countries/cultures would you like to see?
I love to try new candies :) as long as it isn't dark chocolate or licorice I don't really mind :)

Do you collect anything besides ponies that you might like to see in your package?
I collect anything to do with World of Warcraft, Pokémon cards and figures. I collect Alpacasso as well!

Do you have any wishlists for ponies or any other collections?
My wishlist for ponies is basically any merch for G1/G3/G4.

Do you like holiday stickers?
Easter is coming up soon, so I definitely wouldn't mind some cute chicks and bunny stickers!

I don't have an OC, but my top favourites are Masquerade, Starcatcher, Thistle Whistle, Princess Luna, and Princess Twilight Sparkle. I really like Fluttershy and Rarity too!

My fiancee likes chocolate and candy a lot :P pony wise he really likes Twilight Sparkle, Scootaloo and Luna.

I like small notebooks (prefer spiral with rip off pages), sticky notes, pens (with black ink), colored gel pens and cute erasers!

Cats... really anything feline related. But I also like sea animals and animals that are from Australia and other countries that are not found in the US.

Well I have 6 cats! My oldest is Baby (Torti), then brother and sister Simba (Orange Tabby) and Gizmo (Long Haired Tuxedo), then momma Nala (Torti) with her two offspring Monster (Long Haired Black) and Runt (Black)! They love toys, treats and tons of affection!

Ideally, what would you like to see in your package as extras?  Basically, what would make your package a huge hit?

This may sound funny but a Disney DVD would be awesome! I had a bunch of VHS tapes and they all were destroyed when my basement flooded. So I'm looking to replace The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Pinocchio. Also would love to replace The Land Before Time as well.

SCENTS - citris, cucumber mellon, lavander, FRESH LAUNDRY/CLEAN LINEN. I could literally spend all day sniffling the laundry detergent stuff at walmart. I do NOT like perfume but I DO like candles and room freshners..especially those really cheap ones for like $1. I also do NOT wear make up or take baths - so no bubble bath or bath fizzies or anything like that. I DO, however like shower gels, makeup removing pads (i use them to clean my face at night) and stuff to clean my face with like noxzema. Avon products are also a plus.

I like Inuyasha, Fairy Tale, Black Butler, Yu Yu Hakusho, Ouran High School Host Club, Soul Eater, Rurouni Kenshin, Kamisama Kiss and Im sure there are others but those are the top ones.

I have 3 hamster - 2 Syrians and 1 Roborovski Dwarf. They can have treats but without sugar, honey or molasses or things for their cage like water/food dishes, small houses, wooden things etc. I also own 1 gecko and 10 tarantulas but it'll be difficult to get something for them. ;)

I love love love erasers! I have an eraser collection. I prefer mechanical pencils over pens and regular pencils. Mostly because, since they are refillable, they can last forever. I like sticky notes. I collect postage stamps from around the world. Also, I would love anything I can use for scrap-booking.

What are your favorite animals?
Real or myth? I'm gonna list both. I love kittens, cats, and wild cats of all kinds. I love unicorns, pegasi, and carrousel horses. Oh and dragons, I love dragons. I like wolves, owls, and foxes. I like dolphins, porpoises, belugas, seals, otters, and stingrays. I like dinosaurs. I love mythological creatures and fantasy creatures. Also, I'm an animal lover at heart so if it's cute and cuddly, I love it!

Tell me about your pets.
I apologize if this is long, but I love my pets like children and I could go on and on about them!
Cats: I have three. Zack (http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b322/jennyfer2004/Pets/SAM_0943.jpg) and Kelly (http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b322/jennyfer2004/Pets/SAM_0891.jpg) are about a year and a half, Oreo (http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b322/jennyfer2004/Pets/SAM_0875.jpg) is about 4 months. Zack loves treats and toys, he is basically a puppy disguised as a cat, he is super playful, always wants to be with you and sit in your lap, and loves to be picked up and held. Kelly is finicky about treats but she is very sweet, loves to get her tummy rubbed, and loves to play when she thinks no one is watching. Oreo is incredibly energetic and loves toys and treats too. They always help me open my swap boxes and they love it when they receive toys and treats in swaps. They prefer soft treats over hard treats. They love most toys.
Dogs: I have a two year old Yorkie named Captain America, we call him "Cap (http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b322/jennyfer2004/Pets/IMG_0701.jpg)." He always wants to be with you and loves to play, sit in your lap, or be held. He loves treats and toys. He isn't picky, he loves anything you give him. He also always helps me open my swap boxes and loves when he receives toys and treats in swaps. We also have 2 border collie lab mixes that we adopted last year, Jessie and Fly. But they are really more my mother and sister's pets than mine.

Ideally, what would you like to see in your package as extras?  Basically, what would make your package a huge hit?
I think I'm fairly easy to please. As long as its something that pertains to one of my interests, I'll be happy. Here is a link to my answers from the Little Swap Q&A (http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,347287.msg1062845.html#msg1062845), a lot of questions were asked there so maybe it will help you get to know me and maybe give you a few ideas. Also, I know it's along shot, but I am obsessed with Hook from Once Upon a Time, so anything that features him in any way would instantly make the box a huge hit! Oh and I love Bowtie, so anything that features Bowtie would also be a huge hit!

Hmm. I'm not into the whole mustache craze that's going on right now, I just don't get it, so I'd rather not receive any weird mustache stuff. I'd rather not receive anything political or religious.

Sure, I love pony stuff! I am primarily a G1 collector, although I have recently begun collecting G2 as well. I would absolutely love any and all G1 pony items, merchandise, or accessories. I also love homemade/crafted pony items, whatever they may be! My favorite pony is Bowtie, second favorite is Fizzy. I also like Firefly and Gusty. My favorite pony set is twinkle eyes.

I would love Disney stuff! My favorite characters are Tinker Bell and Stitch. I am recently obsessed with Frozen. Favorite Disney movie of all time is Lady and the Tramp. Other favorites include The Aristocats, Alice in Wonderland, The Lion King 1 & 2, 101 Dalmatians, Oliver & Company, Finding Nemo, and Dumbo. I love almost all the Disney princess, but I don't care for Rapunzel or Merida. I collect Tinker Bell figures and I collect Disney stuffed animals.

I love stationery with magnets that can stick on my fridge lol, and the easy pull off kind when it comes to the paper. I also love the gel roller pens (they go on so smooth!).  The little sets that come with cards and envelopes are pretty cool too. I like cute things so long as they aren't overly girly. Sticky notes I'm on the fence about; I like them but I have a ton of just the typical, bland multi-colored ones lol.

Of the mythical variety, Dragons, Kitsune, and Phoenix. Of the real variety, owls(so cute!), foxes, tigers, and panthers.

I have one kitty named Stella, who acts more like a roommate than a cat lol. She is about four to five years old and was a rescue from the local shelter. She is currently on a kitty diet and doing super well at it. She loves to play with our laser pointer and used to play with a stuffed mouse until she finally completely destroyed it (so far no mouse has been good enough to replace Mr. Pirate Mouse lol) but tends to look at us like we are crazy if we give her string or other toys. She doesn't care for toys that aren't 'mouse size', I think because she can't grab and kick them.

That is a good question. Receiving the swap-box will be a huge hit because I love the mystery of swap boxes, so it is up to my partner on what they want to put in it.  (If that is too vague then little souvenirs from where you live always works well)

Do I not want to see? Hmm... I REALLY do not like bugs. Butterflies are ok though. I also don't like an overabundance of bright pink things.

I have two cats, Mazor and Tora, who are both old so I'm kinda picky about treats, I only feed them "Temptations" brand. Tora doesnt really play much, shes more of a cuddler, Mazor on the other hand is a kitten at heart and will pounce on anything that moves, he loves those little fuzzy craft balls, tiny furry mice things, and any string that passes by his paws. :p

I really only collect Monster High at the moment, and since the only one I'm curently looking for is 2013 art class Skelita Calaveras, I dont expect to be seeing that. :P I also casual collect the medium size Zelfs, iv got Vampula, Howlette, flamy, and angelala.

Do you like holiday stickers? I dont mind holiday stickers, I could use a sheet or two of Valentines themed things.

If you like stationery, what kind of stationery do you like? Pens/sticky notes/etc?
I love Disney and animal-themed stationary. And I also love really simple kinds, just solid colors or very minimal design. I love pens and pencils and can't get enough of them.

What are your favorite animals?
All sorts! Owls, bears, cats, dogs, lemurs, crocodiles, sheep, goats. Also very fond of monsters, dragons, and unicorns if you want to go fantasy.

Tell me about your pets!
I had to give my kitty up recently. :( So no pets for me at the moment.

I'm not sure! I like to be surprised. It's all up to my partner (sorry if I'm not helpful haha). Anything that hits an interest on my list is perfect to me.

I always like to see ponies.
Besides the ponies themselves, I like pony merch like stickers (duh, haha), kitchenware, pins. My favorite ponies are G4 Rarity, G4 Fluttershy, G1 Ice Crystal, G1 Sparkler, G3 Marshmellow Coco, and G3 Minty.

Of course!! My favorite Disney character ever is Stitch and my favorite films are Lilo & Stitch, Oliver & Company, The Aristocats, and The Lion King. Also just saw Frozen and am really digging it atm.

Absolutely. :) Any country or even another state (I'm in NY).

I collect quite a few things though none as heavily as ponies; Pokemon, Monster High, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Stitch, owls, Tokidoki Unicornos. I also really like Zoe and Sunil from the Littlest Pet Shop cartoon and pick up things featuring them from time to time. And tbh I like blind bags/boxes of any sort, any franchise, even from things I don't collect or even know. I live for itty bitty surprises.

So sorry I took so long to answer these. I am still adjusting to my new job and schedule. I am so excited to shop I already picked up a few things.  :frolic:

If you like stationery, what kind of stationery do you like? Pens/sticky notes/etc?
Yes I do. I love cute sticky notes. I just got a Hello Kitty dress up sticky note set.  I am not a big fan of pens but if it is really cute I will like it. As for pencils I only use mechanical ones,but I don't mind cool ones that change color with heat or ones that are fuzzy.

What are your favorite animals?
I love most animals my favorites would have to be puppies, kittens, owls, hedgehogs, skunks and all things cute and fluffy. I also like most sea life, sea horses, dolphins, jelly fish, octopi...I do not like killer whales/orcas.

I also like mythical creatures like unicorns, Pegasus, dragons, hydras, etc.

Tell me about your pets.
I have three cats, one is still a kitten. Zack is our fatty he loves to eat and lounge around his favorite toys are the ones on strings he can bat at. Kelly is our shy one she likes toys to bat across the floor and throw in the air. Moo/Oreo is our kitten she likes things that make noise.

I also have three dogs. Two big border collie/labs mixes, Fly and Jessie, that just love to chew on stuff and they love to just squeak their toys over and over. Our little one is Captain America, aka Cappy, and he love treats and soft toys he can carry around.

Ideally, what would you like to see in your package as extras?  Basically, what would make your package a huge hit?
I love erasers. basically all my likes for stickers are true for erasers too. I also like tattoos because they are kind of like stickers but for your skin. and I love puzzles, I have a collection of 3D puzzles, and I always carry a number slide puzzle in my pocket for if I get bored. Logic problems are also great, I know it sounds silly but I could do logic problems all day.

I would rather not get any religious or political themed items. And please no mustache stuff.

Pony stuff is always welcome, I would like to start collecting G3s I have a few of the earlier ones, the ones with a matte finish are my favorite, and I like G1 and G4 too. I love coloring books and the play packs are cute. Blind bags are fun too, I don't have many so the odds of me getting a double will be quite small.

Would you like Disney stuff?  If so, what characters are your favorites, and what type of items would you like to see?
I LOVE Disney. Olaf recently became my favorite Disney character but I like Mulan, Lion King both one and two, Cars, Aladdin (Jasmine and Rajah are awesome), Cinderella (the mice are the best), I would love just about anything from a Disney animated movie or a Studio Ghibli movie. My favorites of those are Princess Mononoke and Howls Moving Castle.

Would you be interested in items(candies, small toys, stationary, etc) from other countries and/or cultures?  If so, what countries/cultures would you like to see?
Candy is yummy, I like milk and white chocolate, coconut, peanut butter, gummies, sour candies, lollipops, cotton candy, I like most candy but there is some stuff I don't like citrus flavors, malt balls, cherry flavor, marshmallow, and caramel I do not like.

Small toys would be cute, but no tiny bouncing balls those would be too easy to loose and too easy for one of my pets to eat by mistake.

Stationary or anything that is from a different culture would be neat, I especially like money from different countries and pressed pennies or other coins form different places in and out of the US.

Please no hair accessories(for people, pony hair accessories are ok!).  No make up, socks, perfume, or other frou-frou girly stuff.  Not that big a fan of that whole mustache craze that's going on either.  And please no religious or political stuff.  Or Matt Smith Doctor Who stuff:p  I also would rather not see a lot of stuff for cartoons I didn't ask for(Hello Kitty, Disney princess stuff, etc)

Pony stuff is perfectly lovely.  I do tend to pick up the G4 stickers when I find them, but I don't have any of the international funky ones you can find on ebay.  I have gotten a wishlist for my G1 puffy/flat stickers together.  I'm still working on my accessories and ponies. 

I do have most of the G4s I'm looking for with the following exceptions:
Crystal Motion Wave 2(Pinkie, Rarity, Fluttershy)
Any of the Rainbow Power brushable singles(except for the two princesses with detachable wings).


I kept up with the G3s as they came out, so I'm fairly set with those too.  I am missing 4 G2s in my collection, but they're all waaaay out of this swap's price range.

I do collect birthday items from any generation.  Invitations, table cloths, favors(I LOVE FAVORS), party blowers, favor bags(I LOVE FAVOR BAGS), decorations, cake toppers, balloons, the works!  I have quite a bit G1 stuff, but not a lot of G3/G4 stuff, and absolutely no G2 stuff.  If you're after pony merchandise, this would be a good direction to go in.

I tend to not buy too much of the merchandise just due to space issues.  Small items are MUCH better than big ones.  I don't have any of those tiny squishy/squinkie like ponies you can find in the capsules at TRU.  I wouldn't mind one or two of those.  I also wouldn't mind some of those mini comic/sticker sets.  I currently have all the small size(6") Funrise plushes.  I can't find a place for any of the larger ones.

My favorite ponies include(but are not limited to):
G1 - Locket, Baby Glory, Twilight, Gingerbread, Wind Whistler, Nightlight, Tropical Breeze, Starglow
G2 - I'm a fan of the babies(all of 'em), the winged unicorns, and Silver Swirl
G3 - Avalonia, the first two Halloween ponies, several of the Christmas ponies, the red/yellow SDCC pony, Sparklesnap
G4 - Doctor Whooves, Luna(I'm really tired of the Mane 6, so anything that's NOT Mane 6 is just fine by me!)

My husband and I went to New Zealand a few years ago, and fell in love with the place(that's where the kiwi love came from!).  I wouldn't mind some stuff from there, particularly the food!

I'm generally interested in other cultures, so anything that's new to me will be exciting.  I like little figurines, tiny stuffed animals, and some tourist stuff(stationary, decks of cards, post cards, stickers, magnets etc).   I don't have any use for keychains right now sadly, so maybe not to much of that.

I have a G1 puffy/flat sticker wishlist to post.  I'm working on my main pony wishlist, but that probably won't be up in time for this swap.  And it's not a pony swap anyway.
I'll try to post my Looking Glass figure wishlist in the next few days.  I also have a Doctor Who wishlist that's quite extensive that I'll see if I can pare down and post.

Yes, yes I do! 
My top favorite holiday is Halloween.  I *love* Halloween stuff.  My particular favorites are spooky trees, haunted houses, black cats, bats, pumpkins, creepy moons, and anything that just screams fall or creepy atmosphere.  I don't like the human stuff(vampires, witches, mummies, etc).  I also don't care for the cartoony stuff.  Ghosts are lovely if they're simplified, not so much if they're cartoons. 

Christmas is another big favorite of mine.  Again I tend to go away from the human stuff(Santa, elves, etc) and more into the non-human stuff(Christmas trees, reindeer, snowmen, ornaments, etc).  Sticker sets that are one large tree with a bunch of little ornaments to decorate the tree would be a big hit! 

Easter is all about the bunnies and the Peeps for me.  Love bunnies.  Love Peeps candy.  Any of the Peeps merchandise is great(stickers, erasers, plush, coloring books, etc) as well.

Sorry!  I had to go back and edit out a ton of rambling and still this is so long!

If you like stationery, what kind of stationery do you like? Pens/sticky notes/etc?

I love stationery!  I particularly like Japanese stationery.  Cute designs are nice but I like the more classic designs the best such as sakura (cherry blossoms) or temari (traditional thread balls) and I adore really beautiful high quality Japanese paper like mulberry or rice paper.

I also love mini sized things like the teeny letter sets Sanrio used to produce in the eighties.  I like laser-cut note cards with designs like lace, birds, hearts and such.  I like Lisa Frank but not designs with people or frogs.  I haven't liked Lisa Frank's recent panda bears, teddy bears or unicorns either although I do like all of those in general.

Beyond note cards and letter sets; I like notebooks, folders and binders.  (I like sticky notes but I have too many just now.) I like perforated pages whether spiral bound or not.  Colored ruled/lined paper is adorable and I still have my last two aqua and coral colored sheets of notebook paper from 20 years ago or so.  I love character goods from the eighties (for girls -- no Transformers or GI Joe and the like) as well as Powerpuff Girls, Tiny Toons and the most recent My Little Pony.

I love pens and pencils too!  I collect fountain pens as well as pens with fun features like kaleidoscopes, glitter tubes, light up tops, dangling charms or hidden stampers.  I am constantly on the lookout for pencil tins for all my writing utensils and even the odd pencil pouch if it's super cute.  I love cute eraser collections like those by Soundy.  Okay, I am going on and on here... let's just say for part of my senior portfolio way back in the day I composed an essay about how much I love stationery goods and end it here.

Tell me about your pets!

My husband and I each contributed a cat to our marriage.  His cat, Mystik, is a  Korat mix who's the friendliest, cuddliest, most playful and vocal cat you could ever hope to find.  You can carry him around until your arms get tired and he won't stop purring and trying to lick you.

My cat, Wheatflower, is a Balinese mix.  She will stay in one (preferably soft) place for so long I sometimes check her breathing and she is very perturbed that Mystik seems incapable of understanding when she doesn't want to play (which is most of the time).

Ideally, what would you like to see in your package as extras?  Basically, what would make your package a huge hit?

Great stickers will make my package a huge hit. ^_^ I don't expect extras but if you want to include some the rest of my long-winded answers should give you some guidance.

What types of things (themes or particular kinds of items) do you really not want to see in your package?

Insects and spiders; anything violent, scary or gross; people -- unless they're vintage (pre-60's); G2 or G3.5 MLP; mustaches; newspaper comic strips; newer versions of eighties characters (except FiM); I make my own bath and beauty products so I'd prefer not to get any as extras

Certainly! Stickers of course are most welcome.  As for extras: accessories, adhesive bandages, bag ID tags, bookmarks, buttons/pins, combs, compacts, confetti, magnets, printed ribbon, stationery goods, streamers, valentines and mini ponies (charms, Dolly Mix etc.). G1 favorites: Glory and Windy; G4 favorites: Rarity and Pinkie Pie (I like G3 but don't have favorites)

Would you like Disney stuff?  If so, what characters are your favorites, and what type of items would you like to see?

I like Disney.  I'm not a big fan of the "Mickey Mouse universe" characters.  I like the princesses by and large although I prefer them as they looked in their respective movies. My favorite Disney characters are: Belle, Lady from Lady and the Tramp, Marie and Duchess, Robin Hood and Maid Marian, and Miss Bianca.  Items?  Stickers and stationery goods I guess...

Would you be interested in items (candies, small toys, stationery, etc) from other countries and/or cultures?  If so, what countries/cultures would you like to see?

I collect postcards, especially vintage ones, as well as silver charms from all over (other states too).  Candy is never a bad idea but I'm not fond of coconut, dark chocolate, marshmallows, malted anything, coffee flavor, gum drops, hard jelly candies (like Jujubes) and licorice.  I'm an Anglophile, Francophile and Japanophile but I'm always open to delightful new things from anywhere!

Do you collect anything besides ponies that you might like to see in your package?

Yes, I love collecting so I have a number of collections.  I collect old children’s series, books illustrated by Golden Era illustrators, paper dolls, Sanrio goods – Little Twin Stars in particular, Victoria magazines, mahou shoujo goods – vintage stuff like Creamy Mami, Magical Emi, Minky Momo and the like and art by Macoto as well as more recent series like Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura and Nurse Angel Ririka, beautiful paper, charms, lovely rubber stamps (especially botanical designs), trading cards and character goods for animated shows I like (such as PPG, Tiny Toons and MLP FiM), Victorian and Edwardian ephemera reproductions, pretty postcards, doll clothes and goods for my J-doll (Pullip Type 4 body), tea, tea cups and stationery goods especially writing utensils.

Do you have strong feelings about cut-up stickers?

I don't mind cut-up stickers at all.  I store most of my stickers that way, separated into envelopes labeled things like "Horses and their magical brethren" and "By the Seashore" in handwriting that probably dates back over a decade at least.

The only thing I prefer is that the sticker be easy to remove from the backing (please don't cut so close to the edge of the sticker that I have to insert my nail between the backing and the sticker ever so carefully to be able to use it).  However if you have some vintage stickers you are willing to generously part with I will happily accept them even if removing them from the backing takes 20 minutes of concerted effort! ^_^

Dear partner: I have a small notebook that I think would be perfect for you. Since I already owned it, I've used one or two pages from it, but besides those missing pages it's in great condition and is so pretty. Would you mind if I sent it to you as an extra?

I'm a vintage lover so I am a big fan of pretty used things.  :)

I had TWO different sellers do that to me and both ponies were for the same swap. One seller let me keep the wrong pony and sent the new one, the other seller I never heard from.

Wow, that must be a lot of awesome stickers! I'm the same way, I have a very difficult time making decisions. And an even harder time when I'm buying things, and harder still when it's for someone else.

Just waiting on a few more stickers to arrive from eBay and then I think I'm pretty much set. Although there is one more store I am thinking of going to, and if I do I will most likely end up buying more stickers!

The thing that bugs me most is the shipping costs. One seller that I like, she usually drops the $15 shipping down to like $3 or $4 but some of these other sellers - it still comes to like $10 to ship 5 packs of stickers. I get it if they were international sellers but most of them are in the USA  :argh:

Okay, so I was browsing eBay looking for stuff for my accessory swap partner, which has proven impossible so far. It seems no matter where I search I can't find anything on her list. Anyway, I was getting frustrated with that, (mostly because I'm the kind of person who likes to spoil my partner and so far I've got nothing) so I decided to look at stickers instead. And well... Ya know, every time i look up stickers on ebay - all I get are those huge wall stickers  -_-

unless I search for something like Kawaii stickers or Sticker flakes or an actual brand name like American Greetings, Sanrio, ect.

In other news I just spent like $30 on stickers on ebay. A few are for me  :blush:

I have tried Etsy, eBay, Bonanza, eCrater, Craigslist, Zibbet, the MLPTP, and here. I even reached out to ChipsterJ, the accessory genius, and she said she would be glad to help. But it turns out even she barely had any of the stuff on my partner's wishlist. She said the list was even harder than her own. :yikes: Oh well, I'm too tired of searching right now. Hopefully I'll have more luck next week. Thank you so much for the suggestion though, I really appreciate it. If anyone can think of any other places I should try I'm all ears!

I might be able to help you out with the accessory swap depending on what your partner's list looks like.  It's been over 10 years since I opened up my trade bins to the pony community, and I'm currently sorting through it.  It's pretty heavy on the ponywear, puffy/flat stickers, and petites.  I do have lots of other stuff though(general accessories, playset accessories, combs/brushes, pamphlets, etc.  I even have a few Fan Club items!), but not in as large quantities, and not as rare.   

To give you an idea, I have over 300 flat/puffy stickers(including several UK ones), probably over 100 petites(including two of the four G2 petites, though those are going to be trade only for something pretty sweet), and an entire large bin full of ponywear(complete outfits and bits 'n pieces).  We're talking thousands of pieces of ponywear.  I also have some Greek ponywear MIB for trade/sale, and just a bunch of stuff.  I'm currently still sorting stuff, but I can take a look at your partner's wishlist and tell you if I might have something for you.  PM me if you're interested. 

The stickers, petites, Mummy charms, and brushes/combs are completely sorted.  The rest will need a bit of work, but I can easily bump whatever you're looking for to the top of the sorting list.

Ahhh some of my stickers seems to be stuck in transit. They were supposed to come yesterday but haven't left their city of origin according to tracking. I hope they get here soon!

Also, if anyone needs some recommendations to good sticker shops on eBay or Storenvy, especially if you're looking for cute Japanese stickers, shoot me a PM! :) I found a bunch in my travels and they're all well priced.

This may be a silly question but how to ship them? I keep getting stickers in an envelope from ebay but I don't want to send my partner a bubble envelop with stickers in case they get bent. But what if one sheet is really large, that would be a Very big oversize box to ship. So some suggestions on how to ship?

I will usually pack stickers between two pieces of cardboard. Then I'll ship in a good sized padded envelope or cut and tape 2 envelopes together if it's too big for one.

I will usually pack stickers between two pieces of cardboard. Then I'll ship in a good sized padded envelope or cut and tape 2 envelopes together if it's too big for one.

This is a good, and probably the most cost efficient method. I know in the past some people have just made up boxes, especially if their extras are kinda bulky. Iv always just used a big padded envelope with something to prevent it from being folded. Most people wrap their stickers up too, so that makes them more durable against possible bending and folding.

Its kinda a silly situation that in this particular swap your packing method is really determined by your extras and not the actual swap product. xD

(by small I mean about 6.5inx4.5in) I love buying small notebooks that I can keep in my bag if I ever need to take notes on something or doodle.

I managed to hit my budget exactly.. as far as new stickers go :blush: I probably added around $5 worth of stickers from my own collection too, hehehe!

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been here to post... I haven't been online very much the last few days! But I did receive my partner and I'm excited to do some sticker shopping. I did find a couple cute packs of stickers already that I think my partner will like, and hopefully I will be able to get out and find some more soon. Luckily there are a lot of shops around here that sell stickers so I should have no problem there!

I probably bought half online and half from stores. The ones I bought online were mostly vintage because my partner really likes those! But I bought from eBay and only from sellers who offered free shipping or from sellers who had a bunch of stickers my partner would like and offered to ship everything for $1. So my partner will be getting a good mix of shiny new stickers and awesome vintage stickers. Hope you like them partner! Ugh ugh ugh. A really important part of my swap hasn't arrived in the mail while I was out of town - If it hasn't arrived by the 29th, my plan is to mail what I've got and then send it on after when it arrives. Hey everyone! I know I have really dropped the ball when it comes to this swap... I don't want to overshare, but I have been struggling on and off with a serious illness, and this past week has been especially bad. In all honesty, I'm still not at 100%, but I don't want to give up on this swap and disappoint my partner! Thankfully I do have all of my stickers done, and I have been working on the extras. My husband also promised to help if I can't get the rest of what I need in time. So I should be ready to ship by the deadline, if not before.

I finally found the last piece for this swap. Its become a sort of accidental tradition for me to pack all the stickers in a tote xD usually ill just find one that calls out to me "your partner will love me!" so thats how it started lol. unfortunately that didnt happen this year, except I did finally find one today that I hope they might like. ^^ Its not perfect, but I think its still pretty cute. :p

Now I just need tissue paper for wrapping, some how I actually ran out! and I refuse to use Christmas snowflake patterned wrapping paper, as im already so sick of the real life snow outside. :c

Hi everyone!
I feel bad that I'm going to be the last person to ship :blush: But I've gotten some extra things for my partner so it should be okay...
I'm going out to look for seashells at 6 am tomorrow before the beach cleaners come out... so I'll try and find my partner something cool ;) Like a sand dollar or something.
Here's a pic I took this morning of a poor beached jellyfish!! Its a cannonball and not poisonous so I tossed him back into the ocean.

@whoever the person sending me my box is.. My uncle is staying at our house and I told him that if any boxes should show up that he should take them inside  ^.^ So no worries.

thats so cool! Iv been to florida twice as a kid, I hope to bring my son someday. We found beached jellys too but I was too scared of getting stung to touch it, besides not knowing anything about them.

sigh. Looks like I'm gonna have to mail without the last extra.

I'm really upset right now, my cat is seriously sick. I'm gonna try and make sure the package is ready for my mail person for tomorrow, as well as one that I need to get done for a price check. But otherwise I'm just feeling so listless.

Tried cheering up with a picture thread in the main forum and doing a lot of creative work offline, but it isn't helping. Especially since the series of stories I'm working on features a cat as a main character.

I have no problem with that as long as the chocolate was packed for warm weather in case it melted.  It's been pretty warm around here so far this year!

Mine is shipped! Shipped this morning and you know what was available for pick up at the post office after 5? That's right, the last half. So I'll ship that out soon too. Since I shipped on a friday, there's a chance the two items will arrive the same day if I mail this weekend.

I made sure to leave a note with the initial package that it was coming in two pieces - and I think they'll guess what the second half is when they find out it's from me.

Update on my cat: she's not doing so good, but there were no red flags in her bloodwork and she's with the vets overnight to take care of her and get her back on her feet. I feel much better now that she's in the care of professionals. And very relieved they ruled out kidney failure right off the bat.

I'm now back on top of my commitments.

I sent out my package, and I got mine today as well!  It's super awesome, and I'm so happy!  I'll be posting my brag later.  It's going to take a while to get all the pictures sorted out.  I got the most amazing box!  A huge thank you to Daring Symphony for making such an incredible box!  It's beyond what I could have imagined:)  So cool!

I'm a lollygagger :blush: but I just dropped my package off at the post office.  I'm sorry partner!  I shipped it Priority Mail 2-Day though so you shouldn't have to wait too long for it!

last year they required that everyone send feedback to their respective partners before it was  cleared. I'm not sure if thats still the case but its something that id very strongly advise. :P

The host will need to message the approving mod (which I guess would be me) and let them know who is cleared from the swap and who isn't. If all packages have arrived, I can go ahead and let the admin know to clear the swap from your profiles.
