[please move if this is in the wrong section]
there's an ad on preloved right now, someone is selling 12 baby ribbons and hearts in "original sealed packaging" for £7 each
is this a good price? and would it make sense for someone to have this many?
just curious as i'd like to buy one but no idea if this is kosher or not

This is probably the same guy who has not been able to sell them on ebay; and has just been relisting again and again gradually dropping the price but still having some left. Its excess stock. If you are purchasing I would do so on ebay as you get some extra protection that way rather than through Preloved. The UK Fan Club shut down very quickly and I am not surprised someone came across a stack of toys which were never claimed or sent out. We had the same thing with Baby Dancing Butterflies in the US a few years ago as well and the Mommy Charms a couple of years ago too.

was there a particular reason they weren't sold on ebay? i'm surprised they weren't all snatched up

I always thought it was dodgy in some way so kinda just ignored it lol. Though it makes a bit more sense with that possible explanation!

I think general lack of interest on ebay. I am not sure if the guy ever offered international shipping or listed them internationally so that could have been part of his problem. They were ok-ish priced for what they are but most people probably prefer her loose and she does not run pricey so perhaps people thought they could purchase her cheaper on auction. But he had so many of them [in addition to another seller having some for a while] that I think the UK market for them was maybe just over saturated.

I purchased one mip from eBay last year...she was as described and in good condition though she was only £4.99 then :)
