Went on a search for ponies today, and to pick up donation books for the local jail, and ended up finding these awesome items. (no ponies, sadly) :(
anyone know anything about these things?
The nala and simba here, are they worth anything? the tag says 1993

This jacket really caught my eye! got it for $5, the tags are in german and have some initial written on them, and the inside liner comes out with buttons and snaps, there are flags on the sleeves too. I thought it was amazing and fell in love with it INSTANTLY when i saw it and it makes a GREAT winter coat. for $5, i couldn't leave without it. it looks kind of military style maybe

Great finds! Congrats!

At a guess those look like the Sweetheart Simba and Nala pair, they 'kiss' when you press their noses together. Not sure if they are worth much, but there's a ton of them for sale on Ebay in the $20-$40 range. I've wanted them since I was a kid, but not so much that I'd pay $25 or $30 when there's about 7 or 8 sets of them (plus individuals) on Ebay at any given time!

The coat is from hot topic, they sold them about 8 years ago

Nemo!!!! I love that Nemo - he is adorable.

Do the nala and simba pair have magnets in their noses? I still have mine from when I was a kid^^ Don't know about value but usually lion king things are popular and atleast we can identify what you have :)

The Nala looks like a 'kissing' plushie, but the Simba there is the 'So Real' one and not the accompanying kissing one.
Simba tends to fluctuate in price - At one stage he sold for $50, other times he's barely made $10. As for Nala, I have no idea, but they do tend to be incredibly common over here (as is the kissing Simba).
Actually, looking closer - Does Nala have a collar? If so, I don't think she's the kissing Nala at all, but I'd need a closer pic.
-
They aren't the kissing ones - Simba's pose is all wrong, and the kissing Nala faces the other direction.
But those looks like some great finds :)

The lobster is a TY Teenie Beanie Baby from a McDonald's Happy Meal promotion. His name is "Pinchers" and he was #5 in the set from I believe 1998.

Neat haul ^.^

I don't think that coat is Hot Topic - I've got one the same from a discount outdoors/army supply store, along with long and short sleeved shirts!

Simba and Nala aren't the kissing set. They look like they are the ones that "purr" when you squeeze them.

Oh my gosh, I have those exact Nala and Simba from my childhood :)
Nala is the purring one (ridiculously adorable) and the Simba is just known as "floppy 1993 Simba" :P I've had him for sale at $35 here on the arena (mint condition, tag and all) but he hasn't sold yet :(

Vintergaten is correct. Purring Nala is somewhere around $7- if her fur is matted from making her purr, less. Floppy Simba has been going for less than $20 lately. I sold one of mine for $12 recently.
