Its on the right hand side and doesnt connect to anything? I know you can flip it around and connect it backwards but it doesnt make much sense turned that way because then the "inside" of the room(the side with the vanity) is on the outside of the castle.
Does anyone think it might be there to connect to another future addition to the castle?

I may be wrong, I don't have any of the playsets, but I thought that I had heard several times that it connects to the castle that cadence and shining armor come with

The lil bridge stair case thingier attaches to the wedding castle and im pretty sure another one is comming next year ( hehe OH karl!... karl=boss=got me the twilight castle for christmas) and it will connect there.

Yes as MikeysGrrrl says its to connect it to the Wedding Castle; when it first turned up in promo pictures it was shown as connecting to the other Castle.
I am not entirely sure why they want it to do that...but hey Hasbro defies explanation a lot of the time.

I actually ran back to the bin on boxing day when my kids asked and i thinking I had chucked away whatever was supposed to be connected to the hinge lol, but the picture on box showed me it was supposed to be like that. does make it look unfinished tho :/

To make one REALLY BIG castle that's more awsomer than all other castles! I don't usually get Hasbro either but this time I got it.

And now I just want other bits to make some monstrous castle to defeat all other castles!

I know what you are talking about!!! My dough-brain tried to connect the other half of the castle there when I first got it! xD I think another castle might be coming out.... :S
-
yeah, there is no hinge on the wedding castle, i've checked. the only way to connect the two is via the golden bridge thing. so the only other explanation i can think of is that were getting another castle in the future. :wonder:

If I'm remembering correctly, you can separate the two sections of Twilight's castle. The bridge will connect one section to the wedding castle. And I think you can connect the other section to the other side of the wedding castle. I can't confirm that right now thought, because my daughter's sets are in her room . . . and I certainly don't want to risk waking her.

My first thought was that it's to attach to a future play set :) I guess we'll find out

Here the website shows you how to connect the two together:

Guess you could buy multiples of the side-castle... (Clearance!!) and stick them all together and make a lil Court Yard.... of Mirrors?

Hasbro's idea is eventually we will have a castle, instead of a bunch of walls.
Back in the 80's we got a full castle right away, due to inflation, we are on sorta a payment plan, eventually we'll get a full castle but we have to buy a wall a year instead of all at one time. So in 4 years we should have 4 walls. :silly:
