Title: bump?
Post by: 808pony on December 30, 2013, 04:23:24 PM
I'm new….what does "bump" mean?  Does it just move my post up higher on the page it's on?  How do I do that?  I modify my post on the trade forum every so often, would like to know what the "bump" is.  Thanks!

Yes, bump just pushes your thread to the top of the page. You're 'bumping' it up the page to get noticed.  :)

a "bump" occurs when a new post is added to the topic, even if its not from the poster. so, in a way, i just bumped this topic for you!  so really, to bump your post you can just type any reply to your post. for example, "added new pony", "updated list" or even just the simple "bump" all work. heck, even "laughing billy goats" could be a bump, but that might be considered spam...   >_<
