Plus size pony! I kind of like her bigger body proportions, heh. Jut not her eyes.

A plump Rainbow Dash! She almost looks G1 in some of her proportions- I wonder what size this pony is?
I do actually like her shape- but her wings look so cheapo her symbol weird and I've always thought the jointed ponies look a bit off...

Oh yeah- she does have a somewhat odd expression- I think they were trying to make her look like "YEAH!" spunky or something- not angry- but I see what you are saying. I bet a very very careful application of acetone to that frowny bit would fix her right up :D
I normally don't like gimmicky ponies- but the more I see this chubby RD the more I like her ...
Maybe they are returning to a more G1 shape !!!!

Neat! I actually like her eyes, makes her look focused and intense. The only thing I wish is that her wings looked sturdier. Gonna have to get this one!

I am impressed that this made it all the way through production to just before release with not a whisper on Taobao! Gives me hope that there may be other ponies coming up that we missed...

Chunky Dash! She looks odd in a lot of ways but her bulkiness makes her so charming, It would be sweet if Flutters got the same treatment.

No idea! :lol: WTPP is priced anywhere between $30 and $40 here in Australian shops.

The dimensions of the box are the same, as is the price. Also- the symbol and face design are similar. They may have the same body dimensions too- although for some reason the Dash design just looks chubbier to me :biggrin:

I feel it's coz her legs are splayed out that she looks chubbier...
I thought I didn't like it but now I see that Pinkie would be like it too if her legs were in the same pose I feel bad for not liking her. They both have adorable faces though so thats enough for me :biggrin:

I have no idea why, honestly I don't, but this is one of the most horrifying pony toys I have ever seen somehow. Don't mean to offend anyone who finds her cute...but...something about her sets off my creepy radar. Maybe it's the face? I don't even know.

if you are serious about getting the pinkie pie to go with her don't buy one! I saved one from a thrift shop and I will send her your way for like $5. (all she does is manage to freak my dog out when she walks and talks, no good can come from her being at my house)

The Rainbow Power line is hitting stores now - most of them will be December/January but she is probably expected pre Christmas.

I find the majority of the talking pony toys a rip off (although I don't own any,so this is kind of a weak argument lol) because they really don't do a lot for the money paid! Voices/phrases are usually quite off too (ahem,Princess Celestia).

Heavy plastic toys flying up into the air at little kids under 4 feet tall who are not much off the ground themselves... not a good mix I'm afraid. I hope this doesn't go the way of the original Skydancer dolls. I remember many a black eye, grazed cheek, and screaming whilst running away that particular 90s Christmas. :lol: Although our family never did get into lawsuit territory, there was no permanent damages wrought.

Funny I never had problems with the original Skydancers... then again I might have been a bit older than some of the kids getting them... either that or I was just a really smart kid XD
Anyway, yeah I foresee some... um mishaps with this one XD Kids standing too close and getting hit somewhere... yeah

I actually like her! I'm not all obsessed with the voice difference, and I love that flipping feature. She'd be a fun one to have.

I was also hit in the face by my Skydancer! Why did we have toys that tried to beat us up? Strange thing is, I loved her anyway... once I learned to hold her at arm's length! :P
