On the one hand I got a chuckle... gotta hand it to whoever is so innovative.
And of course I have pony-spa'd, rehaired, repaired and customized these toys so I get the sometimes funny position I've been in to explain why there is "pony soup" on the stove (boiling water and oxy-clean bath to get rid of mold) let alone some of the "in progress" state of some of the customs I've done ("they have to be broken first before they can be beautiful").
But on the other hand, I just... I dunno - really = selling just heads and tails?? Separately?
Is it just me, or does anyone else wonder what those toys are screaming as they have their pictures taken?

yah I'm halfway tempted to message the seller and ask that - cannot imagine that their bodies all just happened to be destroyed - for six ponies?? I just haven't decided exactly how to translate my question without seeming funny on some level - "can you tell me if you also have bodies to sell?" "Do you also have bodies for these ponies?"

I can kind of understand just needing a head. My dog decided that one of my ponies' heads would be a nice chew toy. >.< The body is in great condition though, so I kept it and am hoping to find a replacement head. It does make me wonder though if the seller isn't just removing the heads to sell both the body and heads separately. That I don't agree with.

oh dear - a chew toy = yep! that would be a perfect reason to give a pony body a new head :-)
hmmm... now I am wondering what kind of pets this seller may have that so many bodies are missing?
On the one hand, I get that to that seller those "nirvana" may be just bait to them... but man, that is hard to see international ponies all "chopped" up and on the block

However that being said, it is always possible to have spare heads/spare bodies depending perhaps on the condition of the rest of the pony or even if someone is switching heads/bodies to get a perfect pony perhaps?

yah I know I had put out a request if anyone had had a lighter body venne tootsie as I liked her darkened body but her head was lighter (as it was closer to intended color) and the mis-match got to me after awhile. So I can understand sometimes doing a frankenpony switch like for major haircuts and such... still since I found this stumbling on the evilbay I just have to wonder if there is really a demand beyond the boards for pony parts.
Again, I get the occasional tail swap - been there done that to replace a butchered one on a common US MLP... but poor Mexican starflower's head is just hanging out there for sale :-/ what can I say? maybe someone here can rescue those poor heads (so long as its only a euro)?

Just the horns?! :shocked: Those poor ponies! :cry: Reminds me of a story I read once where a character of questionable, er, character had a chess set carved out of unicorn horns. *shiver*
I must admit I am rather disturbed by the idea of someone selling body-less pony heads. What did they do with the bodies? Put non-pony heads on them? Make headless pony customs? Are the bodies just standing around somewhere, wondering where their heads have gone? :blink:

I'm guessing that either the bodies had become chew toys for someone's dog, or that the seller is thinking that people will want to follow Lady Gaga's fashion style:

Should I feel bad? NOPE!
These are part left over from customizing - I would feel bad if I had to throw them away.
And who knows prolly one day someone needs more legs on a pony or even ears lol - and then I could offer some cuz I have some spare left!

That's OK, though, sometimes the more elaborate customs leave spare bits. I just don't know what sort of custom would have no head at all...
Although Tirac's suggestion might work; perhaps they made centaur ponies?

I have a Tiny Bubbles head full of cancer. I had taken her apart to put in a bath with other ponies and when she emerged, I couldn't find her body :wonder: Maybe it's like the dryer that eats one sock ;)

oh see now reading this about customs - yep, admit it - I kept the TE's from a badly mangled fizzy and then Texasgal gave me an eyeless seashell so you can see where that custom is headed... pony parts for customs I get here totally
but this is "out there" at the ebay world level that I am like - there's a wider audience for this stuff?? and then I saw the gaga necklace pic

next they will be selling pony head car mirror danglies... (please no - reminds me of a friend who had strung Barbie heads like that...shudders)
