:icecream: :icecream: I thought a 1000 option poll would be a bit hefty, so I'm sticking to a handful of popular ice cream flavors.
I gave up dairy, but my favorite was usually mint chocolate chip ice cream. I also loved Nanaimo bar frozen yogurt! Holy moly, that was awesome.
However, I occasionally partake of coconut milk ice cream and my current favorite flavor (of the few available) is mint chocolate. Vanilla and maple isn't too bad either.

I'm with you, SDS, my favorite is mint chocolate chip, that's why I voted for both chocolate chip and mint ;)

Mint, though I prefer it without the chocolate chips (which is surprisingly difficult to find)! I'm also fond of Neapolitan.

I went with cookies and creme, neapolitan, and good ol' fashioned chocolate. Cookies and creme is especially good when you get a brand with great big cookie pieces in it, complete with the creme filling still in the middle. And neapolitan is excellent with cake sprinkles.
Of course only after I'd already voted did I recall the amazing caramelized pear flavor that Haagen-Dazs once made. D'oh! But I guess that's technically a past favorite anyway seeing as they no longer make it.

But you didn't put my favourite flavour! I :heart: pistachio! When I was little, I had a serious love for all things green. I used to get pistachio ice cream and spit out the nuts. :rolleyes: Now I love the whole kit and caboodle. ^.^
I'm also fond of mint chocolate chip, and Neapolitan (when I can't make up my mind what I want).
Chapman's also does (or did; I haven't seen it for a while, come to think of it...) a really good vanilla & chocolate checkerboard. That was pretty pleasing, too...
ETA: Nanaimo bar frozen yoghurt? :blink: I think I gained a pound just thinking about that...

I have to think about this.
I normally choose a *good* vanilla over anything else. I also like mint, without chocolate chunks. I would spit them out as a kid. <__<; I still kinda do.
I just had some icecream which has redbean, jackfruit, coconut milk... ;_;* It was like my favorite dessert drink in icecream form. It kinda blew my mind...

no cookie dough?! get out of my life! i voted cookies n crème, chocolate chip (in case you meant chocolate chip cookie dough) and other, for cookie dough. tho if chocolate chip IS the cookie dough, then cherry is my third. tho i find myself becoming fond of the icecream with a lot of junk in it, like waffle cone chunks, and stuff like that. but its so expensive for the fancy stuff i only get it once in a while as a treat.
besides, it needs cookie dough to be truly perfect anyways.

My fave flavor is "Lemon Pie", it is made by the brand "Friggio" here in Argentina. It is something like lemon mousse, but more awazome :lol:

If it involves chocolate or is chocolate-related I like it! Except mint choc chip because I don't like mint. But yes, that includes cookie dough too, yum.
I also like strawberry, banana, and toffee/fudge or honey type flavours.

Voted other. My favorite is spumoni. If I'm ever at an Italian place I always get spumoni no matter how full I am. One of the big ice cream companies released spumoni at grocery stores but it's just not the same as authentic italian.
I have yet to try the staple Los Angeles ice cream; Fosselman's. Everyone I know that's had it swears by it and they have spumoni.

I used to work at a Japanese ice cream place that had various Asian flavors. Never got to try the ginger but the red bean is really interesting! Kinda wondering if it's the same brand.

I really like the more basic flavours like Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry (as long as the fruit is mixed in well so there aren't any fruit bits) and love Neapolitan.
But my favourite is Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, unfortunately I don't have it very often since I have celiacs and have to make my own cookie dough (and possibly my own ice cream too since it's difficult to add it to ice cream that's already been made) and putting baked cookies just isn't the same (I don't like having mushy or damp bits in my foods)

Chocolate/Vanilla twist is my absolute favourite. French vanilla comes second, because you can do so much with it with the toppings. Then straight chocolate, then...Idk. I like them all about equally, EXCEPT coffee ice cream! Coffee-flavoured ice cream had to have been the invention of a true villain. There is no other logical explanation!

Corona: Mine is the "Hime" brand. It's made in Toronto, I think... I'm so happy I found a Chinese grocery store near my apartment that carries it! It used to be a hassle to buy it downtown: I had to bring ice packs, then bike back home as fast as possible before it melts! ^_^;
I have to admit, spumoni is now officially on my "gotta taste" list! I bet I can find some in Little Italy... I can't wait to visit my friends who live over there!

Raspberry ripple & toffee were always my favourite flavours, but I haven't eaten ice-cream in years. :lol:
Now I'm craving it...
Chocolate fudge brownie was lush too. :D

Ice Cream is my favorite dessert. I'm a sucker for cookies and cream, chocolate, or strawberry. However, I adore Ben and Jerry's! I'm obsessed with tons of their flavors, like Imagine Whirled Peace (and not just because it is dedicated to John Lennon :lookround:), Cherry Garcia, and Phish Food. All of my favorites are named after bands or musicians, as you can see.

I voted other. My favorite is Häagen-Dazs Pralines and cream. If I can't have that I want vanilla with homemade chocolate sause. I also love the blueberryvanilla with tuttifrutti sprinkles one can get downtown.

Coffee without a doubt. My favorite used to be Starbucks Cappuccino but all I've been able to find for years is Mocha and Expresso, which are good too but the Cappuccino was amazing.
I also like Cookies 'n Cream and Cookie Dough.

I don't discriminate between ice creams, but mint and coffee are tied for the favorite with mint having a little bit of an edge. It's funny, I actually hate regular coffee, but love coffee ice cream. :lol:

I love, LOVE, love chocolate. Baskin Robbins has amazing chocolate ice cream; it's so rich and delicious. I also love mint chocolate chip. Mmm! :hearts:

I LOVE Dulce de Leche! (caramel flavored ice cream w/ caramel swirl.) It's my favorite. :biggrin:
Also love cake batter, vanilla w/ fudge swirl, Cookie Dough, Moose Tracks, and blueberry.

I had to vote Vanilla from the list......
Here in Ozland I don't think I have ever seen "Cherry" but that would have to be YUMMY if I had had it!
I also voted "Other" as my favourite of everything is "Rum and Raisin".......Do you have that in USA or wherever!

Cookies and cream will always be my favorite, but I have a huge fondness for Publix's Espresso Chip frozen yogurt. Cookie dough is easily another fave. If you really love me, you get me a pint of Ben and Jerry's Half Baked. *drool*

Right now I am addicted to Butterfinger ice cream. My dad brought two half gallons of it home and I cannot seem to stay out of it.

Unfortunately, I discovered it in France and I can't really find it here. :(
It's not a regularly sold flavor. I'm going to have the check the more expensive brands, but that means I won't be able to have it very often.

even though I love fruits, I like fruit-flavoured ice cream much less - but yoghurt with berries is among my favourites :icecream:

My faves are Amarena (cherry), Chocolate (pretty obvious for me , but you really need to try an intesne Italian dark chocolate with maybe a mixture of white or milk choc or some pannacotta or tiramisu or Amaretto flavored ones swirled through...) and Peach. I love all flavours really though! :dribble:

I picked Cookie Dough, Cookies and Cream and Other :) I'm totally into Walnut but also love Carte d'or Peach and Vanilla, so my "other" depends on my mood :P Cherry can be pretty good too :)
My (Danish) husband thinks the Cookie Dough ice cream is very gross, he can't understand how I can eat it, much less love it :lol:

Some of these flavors sound so nice. It would be cool if the powers that be would make it happen with coconut milk for us who are avoiding cow milk. :lovey: Pumpkin! Woo!

Green Tea is my personal favorite :) Even better if it is mochi ice cream!
On my honeymoon in Japan, my husband and I also got to try wasabi ice cream. It was actually really tasty, just with a bit of a spicy kick to it ^_^

My favorite has always been Blue Moon, ever since I was a kid. I wish more places had it, but on the other hand it may be a good thing that it isn't carried everywhere! XD

My favs are Pumpkin (including Pumpkin Pie or Pumpkin Spice), Cheesecake, and Praline pecan. I love icecream's that have different kinds of nuts in it. Mint ice cream is my least favorite.

I love ice cream! Ok, I don't eat it that much in winter (or when ever it's cold in here), but summer is crazy ice cream eating time. :D

I like Moose Tracks. But since that wasn't on the list, I selected Vanilla, Chocolate, and Cookie Dough. :D
I also love frozen yogurt -- we have a great frozen yogurt place in my town that has some really cool, unique flavors. I like the pretzel flavor!

My favorite Ice cream is Kleinpeter's Gingersnap ice cream. SO AMAZING
