No , it's acrylic wool , from the section that they have all the wool for baby stuff.  It's really soft like real wool ,

All so pretty! I love the colors you chose for the windy wing and the cotton candy hair looks scrumptious, just like the real thing.

Sure it's a matha Stewart one , but I also used a UV cured pigment under it and a UV cured top coat on to for the sparkle (the joys of being snail tech :-) )
