Title: Rehairing Tool
Post by: Lady Starflower on October 12, 2013, 09:37:52 AM: I've gotten the re hairing bug, currently I've only done the needle/thread method but I find that takes sooo long so I'd like to buy (or make) a re hairing tool.
Any suggestions on who sells them or is there a tutorial to make one?

Post by: coinoperatedgirl on October 12, 2013, 01:04:42 PM: I use a duel-ended pin vice. You can pick one up on Amazon for about $5. One end has a size 24 tapestry needle with its eye cut at an angle, and the other end has a another tapestry need, which I use to expand the holes. I cut my needles myself with wire cutters.

The dollyhair tool is a pin vice, just with one end instead of the two-ended kind I use - that's how I got my idea (I was looking for the style she sells when I found it).
