I have a pony, sweetsong, which is second hand, and hair and full of frizz at the ends, I need help, has put to soak in fabric softener, has put a long soak in hot water, have played hot and cold water , already washed with shampoo, conditioner, everything, but to no avail, helped close the root tips, but still full of knots and frizz, I did not want to reroot, much less cut, so if there is any way to reverse this tragedy please teach me.

Here's what I do for all of my ponies and it works really well but I haven't tried it on a pony with hair in that condition. First I run the hair under really hot water and then put a lot of conditioner in it. Then I comb it with two different combs (one with teeth that are far apart and one with teeth closer together) to make sure I get all the knots out. Then I go over it with an old toothbrush and let the conditioner set for about 10 minutes. Then I rinse it out with hot water again and comb it with a comb and the hair ends up being really smooth in the end.

A flat iron can be a life saver but....it is tricky because if it is not hot enough it doesn't work but has to be on a lower temp so you don't melt it, test on the end of a strand in the middle to see how it reacts before putting the iron on the entire mane. I have accidentally melted G3 hair before so be VERY careful if you choose to try it ;) I usually flat iron, then re-wet and use pantene conditioner, comb through and then rinse. I hope this helps :)

So, her hair is burned?
I think her matching hair color is Dollyhair's pussycat. It might be time for new hair. :/
