Hi,
I was just wondering when everyone likes to leave feedback. I like to do it after a transaction and I have received my items. :) (I don't sell at this time I only buy.) Recently I won an auction on Ebay and paid a few hours later. When I logged on to Ebay the next morning the seller had already left me positive feedback. :) (I'm not complaining at all I just surprised when I saw they had already left me feedback. :) ) When do you like to leave feedback?

As a buyer I always leave feedback after the item arrives, and as a seller I typically wait for the buyer to leave me feedback before doing so for them.
-
I'm only a buyer but I leave feedback immediately after I receive my item(s).
-
As a seller it is usually after feedback has been left for me. When I am the buyer I try to leave it immediately but sometimes I forget

As either a buyer or a seller, I leave feedback when the entire transaction is complete.

Ditto!

As a buyer, I leave feedback as soon as I receive my items. (As long as there are not any issues, obviously.)
As a seller, I leave feedback after it is left for me, or at least wait until the item shows as Delivered.

Good question. I have to watch this see what everyone says on it.

This is what I do, too.
Back in the early days of eBay, I'd leave feedback after I received payment (back when there were not as many shady buyers, lol). Now with all of the ways buyers can cause trouble for a seller, I don't leave feedback until I'm sure they are happy with their item.

As a seller, I usually leave feedback after feedback is left for me. Sometimes I have a buyer asking for feedback as soon as they send payment, but I don't think the transaction is completed until the item has actually arrived to the buyer, so I don't really like to do that.
Also, sometimes if a buyer is super pushy about me leaving feedback for them right at the start of a transaction, I get worried that they're going to be a more troublesome buyer. I might be paranoid, but it's happened a few times like that.
It's not like sellers can even leave negative feedback for buyers on ebay anymore, so for them it's positive or nothing anyway.

I've had sellers do that to me on eBay. I'll pay right when an auction ends and they'll go ahead and leave me feedback before I've received my item. Then again I have some sellers who never mark an item as shipped much less leave me feedback. :/
If I'm buying on here I'll leave feedback once I receive my item, the same on eBay.
If I'm selling on here I wait until the item gets to the buyer and I know they're happy.

Swaps: I leave feedback after I receive my box
Trades: I usually leave feedback at the same time my trading partner has received their item and leaves it for me as well.
Ebay Selling: I leave feedback after the buyer leaves me feedback
Ebay Buying: I only leave feedback if my item arrives as described and not seriously late. If the item was poorly described or three weeks late and I don't want to mess with refunds, I don't leave feedback at all for the seller.
Arena Selling: I leave feedback after the buyer has left feedback for me
Arena Buying: I leave feedback as soon as I receive my item and its in expected condition.
Etsy: I have quit leaving feedback on that site due to changes in their system that I do not agree with.
So, for me leaving feedback really depends on how the transaction went, if there were problems...the attitude of the seller. If the buyer is happy, shipping times, feedback rules on sites...it really varies. I don't like leaving negatives or neutrals and I have only left a neutral once I think.

As a seller I'll leave feedback when it is left for me. I've had people tell me that the seller is suppose to leave feedback first but I don't like doing that.
As a buyer it's always when I get my item and I'm happy with it. Sometimes I do forget. But with the eBay app it's much easier to remember to leave feedback.

Swaps: I leave feedback as soon as I receive my box.
Trades: I've only traded twice except private swaps, but I only left feedback after we both received our ponies.
Buying on Ebay and the Arena: I always leave feedback once the pony has arrived and is in the condition described. I've never had a problem buying on the arena so far.
Selling: I always wait until the buyer leaves me feedback, before I leave mine.

As a buyer, which is what I usually am, as soon as I get my item (or as close to that - sometimes I don't remember straight away). I often message the seller to let them know it's arrived (for those who have expressed nervousness at their first international sales, for example) too though they'd know from getting feedback. :)
Etsy: I have quit leaving feedback on that site due to changes in their system that I do not agree with.
Yes, I'm not keen on their new system either. It took me a very long time to understand how to work it.

As a buyer I leave feedback as soon as I recieve my item, if I'm happy with it. Or in case I'm not happy, I leave it after trying to resolve it with the seller.
As a seller I leave it after they let me know they are happy - either by telling me or by leaving pos feedback. I've had buyers cause very unwarranted trouble for me (or wrongly negging me without contacting me) upon recieving their items, so I no longer leave feedback straight after recieving payment.
In trades I would probably leave after both have recieved and are happy with their item. Any possible resolution to a problem should also be viewed as part of the transaction, imo.

That is true, I am just not going to leave feedback when they have taken the right to my feedback away from me just because I am a buyer. I also don't like the changes in what is displayed when you leave feedback. I know a lot of people are not leaving feedback anymore.

As a seller - I leave right after they've paid if they are in the US since I have a tracking number...if it's international I will wait until they leave it for me. Just to make sure there are no issues and it arrived safely.
As a buyer - the day or day after I receive the item
