Another brag, another batch of shoddy phone camera photos. :P Please ignore the ominous shadows and my wrinkled bed sheets.

Shot of the inside of the box! I adore this postcard. I have a poster-size version of it hanging up in my room. G1 Big Brothers are among my all-time favourite ponies and this print makes me smile every time I see it.

Super fun G4 wrapping paper with purple ribbons (as you can tell, purple is my favourite colour and my partner got it down perfectly)! There didn't seem to be any order to the packages so I attempted to open them from smallest to largest.

I got Flim AND Flam! Two ponies I have been looking for for ages. Partner, do you have x-ray vision? :P (Did they bring the numbering system back without my knowing?). Here they are on one of my many dusty and disorganized pony shelves. They'll get cleaned when we move next month haha.

Masquerade Rarity for my MIP basic release Rarity collection. I have her hanging up on my wall with my other Raritys! I love the masquerade ponies so much. I have Sunset Shimmer as well and I have to fight myself from not buying the others in the set.

5" Funrise Rarity! So many pony plush were released/announced this year and I decided early on to combat my urge to be a completionist and just focus on a few. So I vowed to only get the smallest of the three Funrise Raritys. Unfortunately, I have been able to find every size BUT this one at my local stores. Swap partner to the rescue!

Cake Family Miniature Collection set! The Cakes are some of my favourite side characters and the baby Cakes are absolutely precious in blind bag size (imagine how cute they would be as brushables!). I'm so excited to finally have this set, thank you!

STYLING SIZE G3 CHEERILEE (Who is looking very ill in the light from my lamp haha)

I have been slacking on my G3 unicorn collection, and I have been coveting this girl for a while. She's one of my favourite G3s of all time, and best yet, she's styling size which is by far the funnest to play with (as the name would suggest). You can do so much with their hair!

For those wondering, my secret swap partner was...
HIMMIE!

The postcard is from the MLP Fair. :) I think Enterplay finally has the full set for sale on their website now too.

I was so happy when our hostesses said we could send two blind bags as one gift. It would have been sad to only send one of those two! Haha. They do have codes but they are different and at the bottom of the package. I believe those guys are AF & AG. (G4's are incredibly confusing for me so I am glad they turned out correct! :blush:)

Cannot wait for some more brags!

Mirnyj also included a bag of treats and two awesome Lady and the Tramp items- a pop up book, and a wallet! I took close ups of the wallet because it is just so cool. Lady and the Tramp is my all-time favorite movie and is special to me because I had a dog named Lady growing up :)

Tutti Frutti! Again, an even lovelier pony than I imagined she would be from online photos...she is such a rich mango color. And that hair...have I mentioned that the hair on these ponies is so silky soft and smooth??

Ahhhhhh!! Just when I thought the pony fun was done! SURF DANCER!!! I cannot explain how geeked out I got over this pony! I nearly traded for her at one point and was so tempted to buy a couple of them that came up for sale but resisted *just in case*...my bathroom is themed in Little Mermaid and sea ponies and Surf Dancer actually matches the main color scheme, haha!

My awesome ponies with all my other goodies! Ponyville Cupcake is a big want, she's been eluding me forever...I LOVE the New Zealand sheep socks (I am kind of like G3 Minty over novelty socks), I have a NZ key chain to go on my key ring, a bag of pony ribbons!!, and some lovely Deep Sea nylon hair! I just got some freebie baits today at the MI Pony Meet so I may have to design a baby pony that can use that hair :)

When opening gifts, my parents always taught me to read the card first but I forgot my manners and went straight for those Oreos. :blush: You'll notice in the later photos that the cookies weren't photographed. This is because I was eating them while unwrapping and by the time I was taking pictures... well, let's just say that all that was left was an empty bag of crumbs. :whistle:

I gotta say that this wrapping is beautiful! I'm not only talking about the wrapping paper, I'm talking about the way that the ponies were wrapped! When I wrap ponies, they turn out as crumply lumps. Court's ponies, on the other hand, were in perfect little rectangles.

The first pony I unwrapped was Dazzleglow. She is absolutely beautiful! She's my favorite pony from the entire Glow n' Show set. Her hair is sooooo silky and soft. She is going on display immediately, right on my desk. :biggrin:

The second pony was Silver Glow! She is actually my first ever G3 pegasus! Everything about her is stunning but I love the way her wings fade from dark blue to a lighter blue that matches her body color. Such a pretty lady!

The last pony to be unwrapped was Cocoberry. My jaw literally dropped when I unwrapped her. She is perfect. I can't believe I have a beautiful Cocoberry in my collection now. I know the ponies from the Sundae Best set often have some symbol rubs, but she literally looks like she was just unpackaged. AND her hair is so vibrantly pink! I'm in awe.

Group photo!
Court also sent me some tea! One is a "double chocolate" blend that I'm super excited to try, especially with the cold weather approaching. I'm actually wondering how this will taste with a dash of hot milk. The second tea is a honey-lemon blend of mate and rooibos. I looooove teas with honeybush, so I'm super excited to try this one also.
And last but not least, the book. This. Is. Perfect. I gotta say, I love history novels but am ashamed I've never read this bestseller before. Elizabeth I by Margaret George. As a History student, I actually have a particular interest in Renaissance history. The Tudors have always fascinated me, especially the relationship between Elizabeth and Laeticia Knollys. There are no words for how excited I am to read this book.

Court, your package was totally amazing. I'm so happy right now with all of the lovely gifts you sent me. Thank you SO much for everything!!! :hug::hug::hug:

Also you went to a pony met, sounds fun, I will look out for a brag of ponies you got from the met ; )

sandra congrats on dazzle glow, she is one of my most favorite ponies her colours are so pretty, nice choice on ponies court : )

I will be watching out for more brags, I can't believe there are 4 all ready... its happening all so quickly

nhal, the wrapping your son did looks lovely. Tissue paper is my secret weapon as well for wrapping ponies. The naturally crumpled texture works wonders with them. XD And look at that silky hair!

Next up is... oooh Dazzleglow! Sandra, I like that box a lot. Court put such a stylish one together for you. :heart:

That's exactly what I've been thinking as I've been watching these brags, I really stuck to the rules and I'm pretty sure my partner said NO to candy, so I didn't add anything additional :blush: :huh: I really hope my partner loves everything that I picked out for them.

I'm in the same boat you guys are! I was stumped on the extras too (ponies were easy!) and just stuck to five. I hope my partner likes everything all the same.

I was an English Major in university, and I loved learning the history of the Tudor period. I love Margaret George. She is one of my favourite authors. When you wrote that you loved historical novels, I just knew what I had to find. I really hope that you like it. She has written a lot of great books.

Yeah, I generally adhered to the 3 ponies, 2 major extras rule as well - after all, that was the whole point of the swap to make it fair for everybody. I did, however, add two very minor thingies (one of them a small sheet of stickers) instead of spreading some candy or chocolate in the box as Brightglow suggested (and I asked Dewprincess about them first). So no worries, I'm sure everybody will be fine and loved :biggrin:

Thank you! I got really bored last week and did a photoshoot of myself with some of my ponies. I really like how the photo with Chief turned out and thought it would make a great replacement for my previous photo. This selfie is at least pony-related. :lol:

MIB G3 Kiwi Tart, one of my most fav G3's :frolic:

My partner also included a Princess Celestia BB, butterfly stickers, 3 hanks of DH in the most beautiful colors and this adorable Penguin shaped cookie cutter :hearts: Not to mention the fact that there were all of these purple wooden butterflies scattered throughout my box, I love butterflies ^.^ Oh and my card had penguins on it, and all over the envelope it came in, Soooo cute ^.^

Namely a silky-haired 7-Tales Starlight who is also a quasi set completer to me (I still need Sweetheart.) Not to mention that these teenagers are one of my all-time favourite sets. Never mind "just" the mane 5 presents, at this point I was already starting to feel seriously spoiled!

The next thing I opened was a soft and fuzzy North Star. This pony comes with a story. "Pohjantähti" was one of my childhood favourites in the animated series but I never had her in toy form. Neither was her name given to any of my darling fakies. I had a NSS one in my past collection for a while but I think I eventually sold her. The So Soft is my favourite version and will have a forever home with me.

On to the final pony… :dropjaw: TE Bright Eyes! This lady is a long-time (and by a long time, I mean years!) major favorite of mine that I never seemed to get across to buying. Apparently, Clones solved that problem for me. She's such a unique pony and even prettier in person!

Finally I see the card you sent me... and see the open first, ha impossible with clark around. Anyhow it was lovely to hear from you and the card you made me is so wonderful I absolutely love it, I am going to get it framed and it will be the only pony thing that will be kept in my bedroom, its so special. You are an amazing artist. I really can not express how wonderful it is and how much it means to me, its so well thought of and special to have my favorite things all together. I have to admit i love the box you sent me but I love the card most of all, its making me all emotional. Thanks :hug:

Also, to everyone who noticed the puppy - he'll be moving home to Mom's TOMORROW. Mom has been in a similar situation to you, Clones - she lost her dog in the summer and felt like she couldn't survive without one.

Art people: I'm not officially open for commissions, but sometimes people who know me from somewhere ask for them anyway and I usually say yes. ;)

I am very surprised about the quality of your colouring in books, they are impressive. Here the paper is so thin that when you draw on one page it goes through to the other side and some times the other page.. there is not a chance that could ever happen with the truck book you sent us. Thanks

The box itself displayed a colourful array of customs stickers, since customs decided to grab it and tease me for a while, but here is what was hiding inside:

You nailed my favourite shades of blue and mint green! The photos were taken outside on my balcony ... although you cannot see it in the pictures, my balcony is the exact same colour as the mint green of the wrapping paper. (Yes, I chose that particular flat because of the colour of its balcony. :P)

In between heaps of protective pink tissue paper, I found this card. Again, Mikeysgrrrl has nailed some of my favourites: birds + flowers + my favourite colour scheme ... The card displays beautifully on my shelves!

By now you will all be able to guess what my favourite things are: birds and flowers. I had mentioned somewhere down the road (of swap questions) that I like vintage cards, and the ones Mikeysgrrrl chose for me are adorable.

Next came two duck combs in matching shades of blue and mint green! (Yes, more creatures with wings. I told you, I loved birds. What could be more appropriate than to collect duck combs? :biggrin:)

The ponies! In an early answer to a question about my wishlist, I mentioned that it would probably be nigh impossble to find a ZigZag without visible damage to her stripes. Lo and behold! I unwrapped a perfectly mint ZigZag! Isn't it fantastic? Baby Blossom is sporting my favourite shade of purple and some flowers as her symbol :biggrin: For some inexplicable reason, Fluttershy has been eluding me for months, I am happy to have finally been able to add her to my herd.
