Title: Typical weight for a Funko vinyl?
Post by: BabyMedley on September 17, 2013, 11:55:02 PM: Can anyone give me a ballpark weight on a Funko vinyl figure out of the box? I need to give someone a shipping quote but all of mine are MIB and I want to keep them that way.

I took a quick weigh-in (on regular kitchen scales, not a precision scale, so it may vary) and she's clocked at 300g / 0.66 lbs / 10.58 ounces loose with no packaging. I hope this helps you. (:

Post by: elish2 on September 18, 2013, 07:30:39 AM: A MIB one is 12 ounces, so it would be a little less than that without box and plastic...sorry I keep all mine MIB too, and have only shipped MIB ones.

Fluttershy is the heaviest at 10.5 oz. and Dr. Whooves the lightest at 7.1 oz. Most are between 8 and 9 oz.

But dont you need to box it to sell it? So you would have to factor in the weight of packaging at least. Amazon prices consider packing hence why it tends to be a nice safe indicator of price. Also Funko ponies are not sealed inside their boxes you can lift them out and then put them back in without ever knowing they were deboxed.
