I went to go meet a lady today who was selling some ponies, her nieces collection apparently. I got 13 new babies for $25 and she said this may not be all of them, and she'll let me know if she finds more!

Condition of the ponies:
Lofty - Very, very little rubs, only on one ear and hoof. Has a lot of dark brown splotches, are they dirt?
Magic Star - Rubs on ear, one ear bitten off, no tail, drunk pony
Blossom - Half of one ear is missing, no tail
Cherries Jubilee- No problems, just dirty.
Posey - Forelocks cut a bit, symbol is still pink, hair is a weird peachy and brownish color?
Lickety Split - Front of hair cut down slightly, some black in hair, prefect otherwise.
Sunbeam - Missing tail, her body seems caved in a bit and looks rather funny.
TAF Mily Way - Prefect! Needs a bath.
Firefly 1 - Missing tail, some hair is cut.
Firefly 2 - Prefect! Needs a bath
Starshine - Symbol rusting on both sides, minimal hair cut in front.
Skydancer - Some hair cut in front, not as deep as others. Red paint or marker splotches.
Baby Glory - Perfect! Needs a bath.
If theres anything up there you can give me tips to fix I'd be thankful!
Also, I plan on customizing Skydancer, is she rare? And if Starshines rust can't be fixed i might paint her too.

wow congrats to you on them, they look nice.

Congrats on your new ponies :)

Neither Skydancer nor Starshine are rare. That said, marker can often be sunfaded out, and paint can be cleaned off, you might want to try that first. Nothing really that can be done about symbol rust, though that alone isn't usually cause to bait an otherwise decent G1. They're your ponies now, up to you what you do with them.

Congrats on a lovely lot of G1s. Personally I only bait really tragic ponies as most are at least restorable. I hope you have fun sorting through your lot :)

What a great deal you got, grats!

Congrats! Poor magic star, she's not the first magic star with a chewed ear I have seen. I could be restored (first deflock then sculpty and then paint over it)

Congrats on your new ponies! If you think Lofty needs a cleaning, I scrub my so-softs with shampoo and a baby toothbrush. It seems to brighten them up overall, though if what you're looking at is a stain, it likely won't help at all. Be careful trying something like this, though, as rubbing the flocking can remove some of it. My Best Wishes so soft lost a little bit of flocking on one of her ears when I cleaned her up.
Posey's hair color raised a little red flag in the back of my head. Her hair is peachy brown? You might shake her a bit and listen for rattling. There's always a chance of tailrust staining the hair like that.

Yeah I thought it was really weird, but I didn't see how it could be rusting because I thought only tails could do that. There wasn't any noise when i shook her around.

Rattling is no indicator for rust really, I have had rattling ponies with absolutely no sign of rust. And you might want to open her up anyway, that hair colour is indeed a possible sign of rust. When ponies are used as bathtoy that rust can get everywhere. Good luck (and have some fun along the way)

Agreed - if rust progresses far enough, the entire tail ring can disintegrate, leaving nothing behind to rattle, but the pony will still be filthy inside.
