WOW nice!! .....still probably not going to buy them, cuz it's just more re-issued characters, but I like the ideas! TS has some nice colors in her hair!

I'm honestly not excited about any character re-issues anymore, but colors are cool I guess. I'm waiting to see if a mini figure set will pop up under the Rainbow Power line containing that TAF style Dr. Whooves and DJ Pon-3 minis. They are the only thing that's popped up that looks like it'll belong to Rainbow Power that I'm interested in so far.

I'm kind of impartial to these as well, and would vastly prefer new characters, but they might make for interesting custom projects. G1-G4 flutter ponies anyone?

Probably gonna buy Cadance, since I am now intentionally collecting all the Cadances. Twilight's pretty cute though I will admit.

They remind me of a cross between Rainbow Curl ponies and flutters, I think I like it.

This is a tough one. . .
Pros: fun flutter-like gimmick
Cheap-but-retro rainbow gimmick looks kinda maybe appealing on Twilight
Cons: Wings are pretty fugly
No new characters
Cadence's stupid rainbow hearts are ugly as sin on Cadence.

The more and more I see the same characters released the more I fear for the future... I understand hasbro wanting the mane characters from the show on the shelves, but they have to realize that most people don't want to buy duplicates of characters. I think yes they should keep the mane characters on the shelves but also add maybe a collectors line like star wars does, trust me kids and parents would still buy from those lines just as much as bronies and collectors. In fact I bet certain other characters from the show would sell better than the mane 6 as of now such as Big Macintosh, Bon Bon, Thunderlane, etc.

I am a parent and I will say that my children do not need 14 pinkie pies... which would be the number of pinkie pies they have. 10 are blind bags, but that this still truly excessive. 3 pinkies are identical brushables as near as I can tell.
My girls would LOVE Big Mac, Thunderlane, and Snowflake.... particularly Snowflake... they love him.

I have a feeling this 'rainbow power' thing may tie into the upcoming 'equestria games' story arc in season 3. -_- I specualted the same thing over the crystal ponies back when they first appeared, and I was right!

We need to get a facebook page together or something build up likes saying we want more characters, or take lots of polls and send them over to hasbro, exactly I try to avoid as much as possible to buy duplicates like I don't mind having one rainbow dash in blind bag, 1 in FS, 1 in Vinyl, and 1 in Brushable, but I do not want 7 Rainbow Dash brushables with a different color tinsel everytime.... WHY can't hasbro ask us polls on facebook, or make a collectors line...

G4 Flutter Ponies! I really like the shape of the wings... and I guess out of a necessity they have to be removable... probably to prevent breakage. But I could do without the cutie pox.
PS Need different characters hasbro!

I'll get one of the main six. And of course any new characters. Hasbro needs to quit the reissues. No one needs six Dashes or five Twilights. Diversity is one of the reasons I loved G1. If their not carefull, we'll be seeing Bore 7 again.

Regardless if it's G1 ponies in G4 bodies, or more G4 backgrounds, or brand new characters not in the show it's still WAY better than mane 6 released over and over and did I mention over again.

...Interesting :o Better, better, Hasbro, and I don't see an exclusive sticker on either of them! (it's honestly sad that I have to celebrate non-exclusive items, Hasbro) Still re-releases but these are actually quite pretty and are different enough from their original designs to interest me. I'll wait to see out of box photos but I think I would possibly buy these (price depending, and whether or not these turn out to be another exclusive), and hopefully this will mean some unique characters like with the Glimmer Wings?

I will skip because I dont really need more of the same. But at the same time I adore the colours in their manes. And the G1 collector in me is loving the "flutter" reference as well as the fact Twilight has some Rainbow Curl Streaky style symbols going on.

I like them! Different mane colors, different "cutie mark" and a new type of wings.
If we're going to be stuck with re-releases than this is the way to do it. (Now if only we got new poses...)

I am just happy that Hasbro is still making ponies! I like to look at the good side of everything :) Pictures don't always do justice to things either. I will wait till they come out and see them in person.

This. They're not terrible, just... Not my cup of tea unfortunately. I think if the rainbows weren't there, I'd actually like them (maybe an Acetone job for me?) :P

Now I look closer...I agree. I think I'd take off the extra bits. I think the ones on Twi's cheek are cute but the others look a lil random xD Ah well, shouldn't be too hard from what I've read?

Those are pretty fancy- I love rainbows but the colors on these seem a little clashy maybe? I'll still probably get them, maybe. Well maybe not unless they show up in droves on Taobao for cheaps, which seems unlikely.

I love the Twilight Sparkle one. I love the princess mold, I love shooting stars, I love the colors, I love fancy wings.
It would be cooler if it wasn't TS, but quite honestly, over all, I'm just in love with it. I'll just wipe the symbol off and give it a new one. BANG. New character XD

Nothing about them screams 80s to me. Rainbow brite was rainbows and still didn't look like a small child attacked her with stickers and paint.
That being said I'm sure kids will live the shiny wings and rainbow bodies.

It's just something about the rainbow shooting stars on Twilight's body that reminds me of Jem and the Holograms :P

Ok Cadence is a little cliché looking but Twilight looks like potential. Why can't Hasbro put new characters as flutters? I'll buy them if they brought back the G1 flutters looking like this. It's not the most creative answer to what we want but it's better than nothing.

Ennghhh, I'm so torn.
In one way I feel starved for new items and ponies without tinsel, so this is good....
But I agree with others, I am getting the vibe you get when you see a G3 Styling Size Rarity with matted hair and those awful stickers all over her at the flea market, :lol:
