I'm curious to what types of dolls everyone collects?

I collect BJDs, Vintage barbies, 80's barbies, pedigree and hasbro Sindys, and Bratz.

I'm very tempted to start collecting Lady Lovely Locks as well.

So tell (or show) us what you love!

i used to hate dolls when i was little, but well ... that's really changed the past two-three years lol

i collect Monster High, Pullips (mostly Taeyang), a few Winx, and have one BJD ... so far ... lol

I have one BJD girl and 1 monster high girl. I play and do more things with my BJD girl though.

I have 4 BJDs at home, 2 more on the way (they should arrive around Thanksgiving).  I had two Pullips in the past, but sold them to help pay for a grail BJD.  :)  I still like to see pics of Pullips, but they never sucked me in as badly as BJDs have.

Oh boy......Vintage barbie, collector barbies, Mattel disney dolls (1990's barbie sized and the smaller musical princess dolls), non-disney movie themed dolls (Anastasia, Swan Princess etc.), Tea bunnies, Krystal Princess, Fairies of Cottingley Glen (from Fairy Tale), Tyco Liddle Kiddles....

I think that's it? Very tempted to get into Lady Lovely Locks and Rose Petal Place :D

I mostly collect BJD's, but I have several Blythes and Monster High dolls, too :)

edit: Oh, I really like Disney dolls! Especially the older ones.

For me Monster High is my number one doll love. Pullips have snuck up on second place though. I also collect Moondreamers, La Dee Da and Novi Stars. I have gotten much more Novis than I ever intended because I was afraid they were being discontinued.

I do like Bratzillaz somewhat but the lack in quality has just put me off them. I have two Magic Night out Sashabella and Vampelina. Both of them have yucky hair.

Nowadays it's Monster High and the occasional pony.

I try to get one doll of every line I find very pretty or interesting/weird - the goal being to display them chronologically and have a ''fashion doll evolution since the 80's'' timeline of sorts. (But there are LOTS of dolls I find interesting and not much budget so I'm very far behind!)  :|

I collect Monster High, and I also have a few Pullips...

But my main love are my BJDs. I only have two right now; a Hujoo Dana, Emily (ABS plastic, yes, but still strung with ball joints, so it counts to me), and a MiroDoll Wind, Dawn. I love those dolls so, so much. <3

My main doll collections are Liv and Cutie Pops, but I also love LPS Blythes, mini American Girls, Tangkous, Susie Sad Eyes, Blythes, Pullips, and BJDs. I also sometimes pick up other playline dolls, but I'm trying to limit how many playlines I allow myself to really get into.

I basically have three dolly collections! Monster High is my main one, I just love them to bits and have been steadily collecting them over the past couple of years  ^^; As soon as Ever After High comes to Canada, I'll be adding them in, too.

Next would be my Pullips: currently 3 Pullips and 2 Dals, all totally beloved. I take it slow with collecting them because they're pretty big purchases for me. I've got about a half-dozen on my wishlist, which should last me for a while XD

And finally my Disney dolls, which I've been collecting since I was a kid. My aim is to get one doll of each character, preferably a "signature" version from their first Mattel release. So, the gang starts at about 1990 and carries on up until now, with various holes still needing to be filled.

I also have a motley crew of other dolls that I just really like, heh. A J-Doll, a few collector Barbies (my precious Captain Jack Sparrow!), some Bratz, a couple of Winx, mini Lalaloopsies, a Novi Star....... eep :)

Pullips are my favourite line :) I've got 5 Pullips, 2 Dals and 1 Little Dal, plus 2 BJDs and a Hujoo Berry! There are some MH dolls stashed away somewhere, but I lost interest in them and sold off most of my small collection.

I find the quality in most playline dolls is lacking, compared to what they're priced at, but I do love the look of Sylvanian Families :)

Monster High, Ever After High, 80's Jem and Disney! For Disney dolls, mostly Alice and Jasmine, but I do have Designer Villain Mother Gothel, a Designer Princess Rapunzel on her way to me and I'm leaving in about an hour and half to try and get Fairytale Collection Rapunzel and Flynn.

If I had any more space I'd love to collect antique dolls, Moondreamers and some Pullips as well.

I don't consider myself to be a huge doll collector, I only have a few dolls, and a few others I'd like to own someday.

I have loved BJDs for about fifteen years now, but unfortunately there is something else that haven't changed about them: I was never, and I guess will never be able/willing to afford them. even though I transformed from student to worker in the meanwhile, I still think that they are not priced to fit our wallets and our salaries here. oh well, I think I am now at peace with this.

however, last year I found a doll in a thrift store who stole my heart with her BJD-like features. until that time I have never seen (or, well, I did, I just did not notice/was not interested) more articulated dolls other than BJDs. this girl was one, and she also had beatiful, purple eyes and "real" eyelashes. she came home with me, and was basically my very first doll since childhood.
it was only months later when I learned she is a Moxie Teen, and I fell in love with the line at instant. Moxie Teenz is a line I actually consider myself collecting, and I would love to have a complete collection of them (the main 4 dolls) one day. I really like thinking of and creating new outfits and hairstyles for them, and it seems I have found a line of dolls that is an OK substitute for BJDs for me, for a price I can afford.

I also love Moxie Girlz, and I have a few of them. I like their cute faces, but I wish they were articulated...

I'm not much into Monster High, but there are a few dolls I'd like to get - one (sig Rochelle) is on her way to me right now  ^.^

and last but not least, I really love Kurhn dolls, there is something about their faces that grabs me. I only have one, but would definitely love to have more someday.

My LARGEST doll collection is my Monster High group, but that's just because they are readily available and reasonably priced.  I also collect BJDs, I think I've somehow ended up with 11 of them, if you count resin and ABS...I collect Pullips and Taeyang, though I haven't bought a new one in a while, not for lack of want, but for lack of funds (same reason my BJD wish list hasn't gotten any smaller!)  I also collect some Disney dolls (Sleeping Beauty, Tink, and Merida), and anything else that randomly catches my eye...I have a Novi Stars, 3 Blythe girls, lots of Barbies, some Bratz, a few Liv, several JEM, and lots more....I've always been a doll collector :heart:

Barbie, which is what started my doll collection! I mainly collect vintage or Mod Barbie, 1980s Barbie, Steffie faced dolls, Midge, Francie but I'll buy anything that catches my eye.

I also collect Tammy dolls, Monster High (I'm trying to stick to Draculaura but we'll see how that goes), I have 4 Pullips and more that I want, I have one Blythe but I'm trying not to buy any more of those. I've also thought about collecting Crissy by Ideal but I really just want one of her and some outfits as 18" dolls are a bit too big for me.

My main collection and love is Monster High. I am also in love with their spin-off, Ever After High. Monster High started it all off for me. I love how *different* these dolls are.

Secondly, I love the Mystixx dolls. I know that most people find them creepy or just MH knock-offs, but I love them for their uniqueness and I will trade some articulation for that awesome 2-faced feature.

Other than that, it is mainly just playline fashion dolls. I've got some Bratzillaz, Equestria Girls, Pinkie Cooper, Novi Stars, Disney, etc. I've got 2 Pullips, but I am trying REALLY hard not to get sucked into those dolls.

Pullip and BJD (Iplehouse and Fairyland, mostly)!

I haven't really been buying Pullip a lot lately, I am pretty satisfied with my collection for now :) I absolutely love taking pictures of them as it's so easy to give them many different expressions and poses.

As for BJD, I mainly have them for display purposes as they're so pretty *-* My recent addition is a Pukifee though, she's SO cute I can see myself becoming a huge fan of pukifee and lati yellow!

I also have a few MH dolls left over, but they don't do much for me anymore, unfortunately.

I am a very casual collector. I buy what I find thrifting. I like Monster High, Bratzillas, Rose Petal Place, Moondreamers, Strawberry Shortcake, Jem, Hugga Bunch (are those dolls? Plush?) She-ra, My Child, Cabbage Patch kids.. (OH SO MANY CPK). I have Living Dead Dolls,LDD Fashion Victims, Little Apple dolls, Lollipop Girls,  a Mysticats, I have some My Little Angels (they have glow in the dark bits!) one Novi Stars, a Merida doll (one of the good ones with a smart alec grin) some Lady Lovely locks, Make me up Darlings, Honeycomb Girls, Fairies of Cottingly Glen... I have also fallen in love with the Disney Animator's collection toddler princess dolls. They are SO CUTE with their expressions, chubby bellies and turned in toes.

I would love to get into BJDs.. but they are too expensive for me. I'd rather buy dozens of thrift store cheap dolls. That's just more fun for me.

i loved all dolls from the time i was a kid. When i was very little it was barbie and shera and i took VERY Good care of them.. my barbies from child hood STILL have their shoes!!
as i grew i got into just holiday barbies and fantasy barbies... the fairy barbies are just awesome... then i liked winx.. i got the original enchantix from aussie...
and got in to the new line.
they are all so beautiful..
MH is one of my passions as well so awesome.

I collect Cabbage Patch Kids (mainly vintage Coleco black boys, Mattel and PA Asian kids), black baby dolls and black fashion dolls (must have proper facial features, no blacked-up white face moulds here!), and Maori dolls. Also have a few smaller collections of Tiny Blessings, SSC, Magic Diaper Babies,  Japanese dolls, Vintage Action Man and Pedigree Sindy.
