What it says in the title! Post your pics of this set!
I just got this set a week ago. The quality is definitely down, but I'm still excited to have new ponies--especially villains! So, everyone show off this set! I especially want to see how people are styling their hair! Has anyone cut Bubbles' hair to make it show-accurate? I'm thinking of doing this.
I'm also interested to hear what quality issues people found. I had to look through 5 sets to find one I was satisfied with. Half of the Shining Armors didn't have painted hooves, a few ponies had bent legs. One Bubbles had hair from a rooting accident sticking out from under her wingpit, giving her under-wing hair. And ALL of the Chrysalises had the head turned in a way that permanently bent the wing back a little bit. Still happy, but good grief!
Here is my set! You can't see, but my Shining Armor DOES have blue hooves, though many sets missed that.

They are cute! I have not gotten the set yet and when I do I cant wait to see them. But I do not take my ponies out.

Oh, she made me sad. She was like one of the failed Ripley clones from Alien Resurrection. Nobody has hairdos yet? What's the consensus? Cut Bubby's hair, or don't cut it?

Neither of the TRUs near me have even put the set out on the shelves yet >_< We still have the NMM fan favorites set

I'm in Oklahoma right now, and I got them from TRU. We're usually about that last to get anything, so I'm guessing they're out in a lot of places.

Can't wait until my TRU gets these! Though I'm sure my wallet can...I dropped $50 on the new MH GNO 4 pack today. ugh.

I say cut it if you will prefer it that way. :) You are best to have the pony in the style which will please you the most. The set is going to get a massive release and be owned by a lot of people so I would not worry about them being hard to find or super expensive in the future.
I would never deliberately cut the hair of a pony but I understand for a lot of people the style or show accuracy is important so I understand the desire to cut it.

I'm a little miffed that people have got these sets from TRU already. I preordered it a while back and it says it won't ship until the middle of next month. I assumed that was the release date. Grrr. I would have just gotten it in person if I would have known that.

Ahh...I am with you now. And yes I agree for many of them the hair is very thin in comparison to length - more volume would have been nice and I dont understand why they could not have chopped hair at half the length and doubled up on what is rooted instead.
I was hoping for some secret knowledge about the speed at which a G4 will travel in comparison to other generations.

I would expect G4s to be fastest. Looking at the other gens' wings, I'm not sure they can really fly. I think G1 wings are like ostrich wings--vestigial. As to G3 wings, I think they seem better adapted for use as flippers, like penguin wings.

The closest TRU to me does not have the set- I pre-ordered the set ages ago and haven't received it. It seems to me that people who pre-ordered the set last month should be getting their ponies at least around the same time as the stores.

Wouldn't that be nice Galactica? So much for PRE-ordering to get it upon release.

I really want this set but it is a bit of a long drive to the usa to buy it though and the postage is going to be a nightmare.
But I know me I will fall at the final hurdle and but it some way.

this is what iv done with mine, i only have 3, waiting on lyrica in the mail. lyra kind of has a beehive.
shining armor is rocking the liberty spikes and diamond i just brushed her hair gently and it went into an amazing curl :)

I just got my set yesterday. They were on introductory offer at $38 ^.^ HAPPY! However, saying the quality is down is an understatement. More like quality is non-existant. There were 6 boxes and only 1 box was OK, even then my P.Shining Armour & his mate have some kind of faint blue smudges on them. I bought the set mainly for :muffin: Pony Buba and Baby Lil' Queenie Boo, so as long as those two are in great shape, the rest are negotiable.
I noticed that all the Lyra's tails are super long but they're super frizzy too.

Its a US/Canadian release only so far. But you never know which stores may pick it up internationally.

It's sad to hear the quality is down; I was going to order one through TRU US but now I'm wondering if I should ask a US friend to get one for me to try and find one with the least flaws >.<
All the different hair styles look great, though! I'm getting inspired for some of my other ponies :D

Ok, so my TRU does have them. However, out of the 5 they had in stock none of the SA had blue hooves. Also, one of the blister packs was in upside down. I checked and it didn't look like a return. The tape looked factory. Poor job with quality control Hasbro.
I may go to the other TRU tonight/ next week to look. If I find a blue hooved SA I will be picking it up in case my pre-order comes unpainted. Any one interested in me picking up another? I could possible work with an international friend to get the last few international exclusives I'm after but open for ideas.

Wow you mean the hooves for SA can come unpainted? O.O Ok at least the ones at my TRU have painted hooves.

I did not take pictures, sadly. I did pre-order one, so maybe that one will come without blue hooves. I will take pictures if I end up in the TRU area again. Also, I think that the thread starter mentioned the lack of consistency between Shining Armors not all having blue hooves.
