Title: Pinkie Pie's Boutique meets Equestria Girls? Old News?

I happened to notice this little oddity at Hasbro's booth at FanExpo today. I haven't heard of, or seen her before, so I'm not sure if she is old news or not. Thought I should share just in case.

How cute <3 She's totally new to me (though since I don't collect the dolls I may just be out of the loop). Still, I've never seen her in any our Targets.

Her knees look posable, but her arms don't, odd. I assume they can though, as like the deluxe dolls, she comes with another outfit and a hiar extension. STill, very pretty.

Till now I've not wanted a thing to do with these dolls. But this Pinkie, she's so retro 80s charming. Plus the black/pink color combo. If I find her I'll pick her up.

This is a first on several levels. Mostly because Pinkie isn't my favorite FiM character.

I'll be honest, she doesn't look like an Articulating doll to me.. maybe there is a trick of shadows and lights in the photo? What makes me think this is that her left legs doesn't look it, so I'm thinking some strands of hair are crossing over her right leg and making it kind of look like it might be articulating

I agree. I'm still not into collecting EQG dolls, but this is the cutest so far. And this is saying a lot because I'm not a huge Pinkie fan.

The sign underneath does indeed mention a November release, though I wouldn't be surprised if we see it sooner. It looked like it was just advertising the whole boutique line was coming in November, even though Target (Canada) has already announced the toys in a recent flier and they were spotted on shelves too. Time will tell.

About the articulation, I didn't even think to check if she was articulated onsite, but I zoomed in and it does look like the legs can indeed be posed. They did the same thing with Sunset Shimmer (though arms, instead of legs), so I guess it isn't too far-fetched.

I'm also pretty tempted with her. I think it's the clothes which grab me the most, the heart shirt is really cute and I love the little ankle boots. I wonder if she could fit in the car that came with Black Tie Pinkie.

Ok I think I see the articulation joints now.. I was going to take back what I said after I saw the Rarity one on facebook... but it really doesn't make too much for the knees to be jointed and not the arms =/ makes more sense for just the arms and not the legs if they were going to do so

While I prefer arm articulation, I am also someone who displays their dolls more than plays with them. If she fits into the car, it would be helpful if she could sit.

She's so cute and I love both of her outfits. I'll definitely have to get her. Other than the Deluxe Fluttershy, I hadn't really been too impressed with any of the EqG dolls enough to buy them, but I think this Pinkie will be the second one I buy.

Fluttershy's boots are way too large to be able to fit under the car's dash.

If I take off her boots, she can slide her legs better under the dash.

Because the car is made for ponies, there is hardly any leg room under the dash.  This means Fluttershy can't reach the steering wheel.

The car comes with a cardboard front seat.  I took it out to see if Fluttershy will sit better.  However, the car's lack of leg room is still the problem for getting her closer to the steering wheel.
