So ... I was browsing some of the more recent PCs for a few G4s in loose but mint condition and this is what I came up with:
Flitterheart $10-12
Blossomforth $15-16
Ploomette $5 $20 (glimmer wings Ploomette $5, regular wings Ploomette $20)
To be honest, I was really surprised, because I have seen these ponies sell for the following prices (both on the Arena and, of course, on Ebay) these past two months:
Flitterheart $15-20
Blossomforth $20-30
Ploomette $10-25
What do you think? Should PCs be adjusted? (Btw, I'm really bummed I cannot find Blossomforth for a more afforable price, lol.)

There is no such thing as the right price for ponies - even ones which have so recently had an official RRP. You can charge what you like or pay what you please :) Price checks are personal opinions on what a fair price for seller/buyer is. You have to factor in and factor out certain things when pricing - bidding wars, BINs, unexpected popularity, etc - in order to come to a figure. As much as you will have seen auctions for Flitterheart at $20, likewise there have been a couple at $8 and $7. So it can be all over the place.
If I was selling I would not charge more than the above. If I was buying I would not expect to pay more than the maximum. But you can and should set price or purchase where you are most happy.

I'm surprised that Ploomette goes for so little even though she's loose, same with Blossomforth. Guess I don't know my pricings too well. Then again rarely do I purchase G4's out of box lol.
I agree with hathorcat, pricing really depends on the popularity at the time, ebay's prices are almost always higher too.

I've been actively looking to purchase Blossomforth for several weeks now, and I haven't been able to find her MIB for less than $25 or loose (and without factory errors!) for less than $20.

Libelle, I was talking to Sugarstar a few days ago regarding a bunch of G4's that she was selling. Apparently they've sold already :( However she may be listing more soon, so it wouldn't hurt to send her a PM asking if she has the one's that you're looking for.
Thanks for clarifying pricing hathorcat, I know I bought my Ploomette 2 months ago on ebay in a double pack with Twilight Sparkle and it was $25 plus shipping (I must've lucked out) :)

@MikeysGrrrl the value of the pack is Ploomette, kind of similar to the Rainbow Flash and SkyWishes packs with the international released ponies essentially being the reason the packs are expensive so loose or MIB prices do not tend to be too far off one another. Thats a great price for a MIB set - well done!

They are essentially the same pony just one with regular pegasus wings and the other with the giant glimmer wings.
