I found a 1st edition surprise at a yard sale for 20 cents, I got g2 morning glory w/ her original comb at a flea market for $1, and I got a mint in package pinkie pie's party dress up set at a thrift store for $6.99. Post Your Finds! :biggrin:

That's really lucky! I've never found ponies at yard sales or thrift shops as much as I've tried. :/ Found a really cool stuffed lion though.

Hmm, I found a mostly complete Megan's Place back in the day (I remember being really confused, because I knew my ponies well and had never heard of it). I also found two of Hollywood (no wings, traded one for a super mint SS Crumpet with zero rubs, and I had the same confusion for the same reason when I found them).
My friend found some good ponies for me when she studied in Scotland for a semester; does that count?

I've gotten a lot of G1s for about a quarter each, mint Baby Snippy for 50 cents, and a really gorgeous Magic Star for 20 cents.

This past weekend I scored the pinkest Dream Castle I have ever seen and The Dance School at a garage sale. :)
Last Summer I found a complete Paradise Estate and a complete Dream Castle.
I'm a magnet for Dream Castles, I've found 4 in the last year. :)

And one time, I found 100+ ponies at the same thrift store in one go, including a lot of my grails at the time: Nightglider, Lemon Treats, Princess Tiffany, Nightglow, wingers, boys and newborn twins. I was very happy that day. :)

i got a near complete paradise estate with box at the flea market.
i found FS AJ at the flea market.
i got a free Chuckie chese baby.
its not mlp but i got a buddy L fakie MOC for 1.00
and i picked up glimme wings raity for 10C

I haven't had any luck thrifting ponies :/ Just bags of G3s and the occasional G4.
A good friend of mine found a Rapunzel for like $3 or something at a thrift store a few months ago. I think she posted her here for a PC actually. I don't think I will ever contain my jealousy haha.

My best find I think was Greek Bluebelle! I found her on a fleamarket in Hannover / Germany, which I visited with my daughter and my aunt. While the both were hunting for dolls and children video tapes and such, I was searching for ponies and finally found a full box of Barbie stuff with the indication of pink hair showing at one side. I examinded it closer, found Italy Lickety Split and... Greek Bluebelle :D My heart jumped lol. Oh my, I so love this memory <3

Since im in Germany, ive found a few euro / german exclusives during the years too. I got Raindrop, Baby Buttons (x2), Baby Honeycomb, Baby Hopscotch (x2), Baby Heart Throb (x2) and many more of these...

I found a really nice TE Sweet Stuff at a garage sale. It was my reintroduction to ponies.

I found Indian Cotton Candy for £2 at one toy fair and the whole Berrytown family at another for £5 :)

SS Satin and Lace for $1, and in one day MO baby for 50 cents and minty mint Mimic for about $1.50(got 15 G1's for $25 from that seller)

Um mine was a long time ago. I think that I might of been 8 or 9 when I found a big box of ponies at a yard sale. I still remember when I saw them under the table. My mom talked them down and I got them all. I cant remember who they were anymore. I do not have them anymore :(

My best find was a G1 Forget-Me-Not Flutter Pony in a charity shop for 15p. Apart from the obvious missing wings she was in beautiful condition!

I've had so many great yard sale and thrift store finds I'm not sure I can name the best one. When I was still a kid I had a contact on the inside at the local Goodwill -- she would save any ponies she found for the next time I came in. I got a lot of good ponies through her!

The best find EVER was at a flea market in New Jersey. An elderly man was selling old rusty tools...and in the middle of the table GREEK PEACHY! No other toys. Only $1 o_O

My best find was twice Baby Schlummerlein, but I got also a lot of other awsome ponies. Baby Greek Peachy, some Nightlights and Raindrops, a NM Bernacle with hat and bandana...some Macau ponies...

I think there must be a lot of collectors in our area, as I almost never find MLP and I go thrift store shopping all the time. :huh: Vintage Care Bears, yes...(gotta see if I can't trade all these off), and all sorts of other vintage, but not a sight or sound of pony save for McD's or a very occasional g3.

I never find ponies at Goodwill because they list them online! Thankfully, I know of a couple of non-Goodwill thrift stores. But, c'mon Goodwill!! Don't list ALL the good stuff online!!

I think my best find was a MGR Diamond dreams for 5 dollars at an antique store..at the time she was going for $90+ so I was pretty stoked!!
The most amazing deal I ever got was a near mint french bowtie from my mother in law..who only paid 20 eurocents for her!!!!!

I found Baby Rainribbon in a charity shop for 50p last year.
I was amazed to find a G1 at all, let alone one from my want list. :lol: Her hair's a little dry, but otherwise she's in great condition. Since then, all I've found are G3s with ratty hair. :<

So what my best find was is a tough call... and most of these are from about 10-15 years ago mind you...

Paradise Estate about 40 ponies and the Nursery for $7
Perm Shoppe -with about 30 ponies including a super mint Princess Tiffany, Lickety-Split and Rosedust with wings -$30
Lil Tot - 25 cents
Felecedades (yes in a flea market in MI) -$1
There's a ton more but those are the sharpest in my mind..

There's an Antique Mall about 30 minutes away that has G1s, so every time I go there it's a good find, because G1s are my favorite pony toys. ^.^
