Adding to all the new stuff that popped up on Taobao today, there's a new Alicorn Twilight blind bag figure. I didn't see it on here, so forgive me if it's been posted already:

At least she got her own mold, and it's not just a Celestia/Luna repaint. And she has the element of harmony crown!
There was also a version with weird colors:

And the Rainbooms (maybe?) keep a coming! I guess that means we should expect to see a Time Turner figure with normal colors, then.

That Rainbooms blind bag looks a bit slapdash and weird. :blink: The other blind bag is pretty though!

Hmm.. curious, but in the second pic there's a little dip in her head. I wonder if the crown is removable? O_o

Must have 2 of each of these. Love that she is getting her own mold, now Princess Luna needs her own mold too. Maybe if comes in a set it will be will all her friends with their cutie marks switch, that would be a nice set to have.
Edit: Fluttershy is nice and Muffin Pony just needs a cutie mark to complete her. Wonder how all these new ponies are going to be released. Mini sets, blind bags, or larger sets so many possibilities.

Oooh nice! I was hoping Twi. would get a figure with her wings and that it would be different than the W5 bb princesses! I hope this is released like how she looks in the top pic with the normal colors. So many new figures popping up!

I love blind bags for board games! Like all pony Monopoly. Or Clue. Or Sorry. Pretty much anything with game pieces, I guess. :heart:

Wow, this almost looks like a blind bag companion to the rainbow tinsel Fluttershy. Perhaps the tinsel-brushable set of ponies are going to see a store release?

Nice. More blind bag figures are a win win. It would be nice if there where matching sets. BBs and brushables together.
Fluttershy looks like a TAF pony, very cool.

I honestly think Rainbow Dash's mold would've worked more than fine for Muffin :P

This was on Taobao for a few minutes before it sold. I would be so on board with this color combo for her hair! The pink on top looks like it has purple marker on it or something though :huh:

Wow, separate pieces for the hooves and crown, and it looks like sparkly plastic, too? They really went all out for Princess Sparkles BB.
Colorful Fluttershy is cute, but they could've put a little more effort into :muffin: Pony's mold (I'm sure the pictures aren't really doing it justice, but regardless, it looks off). And, like Daring Do, her eyes do look a bit too small.

That Fluttershy is the best rainboom (for lack of an official term) I've seen yet. And the Bubbles... well, they tried!

I kind of wonder with all these new BB figures, if we're not gonna get some kind of Fan Favorites mini set.
I mean, so far we've seen:
Dr. Whooves
Thunderlane
Daring Do
:muffin: Pony
Arguably a majority of the most often requested characters all turning up at once. I wonder if we'll see a DJ-Pon3 BB?
Then again, if they split them up they could have something like a Pegasi set with :muffin: Pony and Thunderlane (Hurricane Fluttershy set?); and an adventure set with Dr. Whooves and Daring Do (both modeled after popular media characters, and of course, that's if we see a regular Whooves instead of just a Rainboom decorated one).
But since we haven't seen a non-decorated Whooves, it'll probably be a Rainbow Dash/Daring Do/Coldheart or other set and a Fluttershy/Thunderlane/:muffin: Pony or other set (surely they wouldn't put Fs and RD together in the same set... a little Rumble [Thunderlane's little brother] would be adorable, but unlikely).

Maybe Rainbooms will be a target, toysrus, or walmart exclusive set, at least I'm hoping it is, or maybe just a new line that will be at every pony carrying retailer. :biggrin:

Interesting! And wow I never noticed how close the TAF blind bags are looking to the brushables which had a tinsel stripe. Very cool :)

I definitely am going to add that twilight and colorful fluttershy to my list. I wonder why they have added symbols, lines and colors? Maybe season 4 will explain. I thought they were taking her out of the show. If so isn't it odd that they keep making toys of her?

Ditzybutt almost looks like those busy book toys. Her head is too small, and her hair isn't as detailed as most blind bags. I almost wonder if she's not official...?

I checked with Mango (who has a Ditzy up for auction), and they sent a picture that confirms she's official Hasbro--Hasbro, the logo, and the blind bag code under her hooves. Huh. So it's just a very weird mold.

Mango's got them both on eBay right now for $10 and $16, though they're auctions, so the price might increase with bidding. Probably beats taobao prices?

On Taobao, they're 35 yuan (for Twilight) and 58 (for Fluttershy), about $5 and $9 respectively if my math is right. Plus agent fees and shipping etc etc etc

The blind bags don't appeal to me at all. Their quality seems to be getting poorer and poorer - the paint is full of flaws.

Bear in mind that a lot of what's sold on Taobao is factory rejects--the ones that make it into packaging will almost definitely look nicer. ;)

Oh, I know! But I still think that what I'm pulling out of blind bags nowadays looks really flawed and poor quality compared to older waves. There is so much lack of paint and smudging of paint it isn't funny anymore. :( I cannot all be my bad luck ;) :blush:

I haven't noticed a difference. Blind bag quality has been awful from the start. In fact, I think the wave 1's I got are some of the worst in my bunch, they almost convinced me not to buy anymore.

I haven't really noticed such issues, and I wouldn't be surprised if more than 50% of mine are technically factory rejects. There's the occasional issue -- Kiwi Tart has a dollop of green paint on her rear hoof, I remember, and I got a Gilda with her wings and tail unpainted -- but otherwise they've always looked fine to me.
