Can anyone give me advice on cleaning a MM Cuddles? The symbols are both there but have rubs and some flaking. Unfortunately she's really dirty- like matted tangled hair, weird brown stuff dirty, so she has to be washed.
How can I get her clean without damaging the symbol? I'm afraid to give her bath- would warm water and Dawn take the symbols off? :blink:
There's a pic of her in my brag thread, but I could post more here if it would help.

When I cleaned my MMs, I simply avoided their symbols. Used lukewarm water, too. I went ahead and conditioned their hair like normal ponies and had no adverse effects. However, I only have one of them that had really nice symbols to start with. My best advice is just to be careful and avoid the symbols. It takes a little longer to clean them because of this (I, personally, avoid submerging them completely), but I think it's better to protect the symbol :)

Yes you need to keep the symbols away from water otherwise you risk loosing them.
Have you tried a magic eraser on her body [not on the symbols of course] and then rather than soak her in water use something like a damp cotton swab or even baby wipe to scrub away the marks?
