Is it safe to say all these crazy colored blindbags and this rarity might be released? I am loving this toyline.... i LOVE these bright as hay  colors, our pony shelves will just scream out color ! ^_^ Rarity looks lovely!!!

They had five of her when I found her...Pinkie looked odd when we found her too so it could be a possibility? Its too soon to say for sure, I mean, they did make a white FS Celestia but we have yet to see that in stores!

I completely agree with this. She's pretty and all, but really, Hasbro. Even if you don't care about collectors. How many of the same character do you think the parents are going to buy their kids?

Oooo the Rainboom line is including brushables now!? Well that's exciting! :D

I will be the first to say that I too would like completely new characters, but I'm really glad that Hasbro is giving in to the idea of changing up the Mane 6 if they're going to re-release them, instead of putting out 10 sets with the exact same Pinkie Pie but with a different hat or purse. So thank you, Hasbro, for making the girls a bit different!

Between these Rainboom sets and the glittery ponies being released as brushables, and the neon/crystal blind bags, I'm quite liking the variety we're finally starting to see in the line! I hope it continues even further.

Oooh, I'm diggin' that funky hair! I'm really starting to like the brushables with alternate hair. The "Black Tie" Pinkie Pie is still my favorite, but I'm curious to see what other combinations they come out with.

Wow- I guess that will be the new theme.  I have to say that while I normally love rainbows and stuff- I don't love those new blindbags with clashing colors painted all over them, and I'm not really loving this Rarity.   :huh:

I do love those multi-colored hair brushables-  this seems to indicate they will probably show up at some point...

..Pass. Ew. I didn't mind this being in the blindbag area as I don't collect them and it looked okay-ish, but it looks horrid on brushables. Do what you did with Pinkie Pie and you could've had Rainbow Dash's boutique or something, which in my opinion is much better than this.

I agree with everyone else that's saying why not just make NEW ponies instead of changing the main 6 over and over again?

With that said, I do think she looks funny.. But I like her and I'd totally buy her.  :P But I probably would have liked her more with a different symbol and having her not be Rarity.

But in that case the wings were pretty and matched her hair-  I can't see Rarity being excited about having hot pink purple and YELLOW all together on her face hooves and hair-  she really does look like a clown..

I agree with what everyone's already said about hasbro needing to produce new ponies, but that aside, i actually think she's pretty spunky  :blush:
I haven't collected fashion styles before, but i guess I'm changing that!
Going on the assumption that these will be produced, i wonder if "rainboom" rainbow dash's hair colors will be different?

I want to like her, I really do.  I'm just so bored with the constant rereleasing of the Mane Six. I mean, how many times does Hasbro think a parent is going to rebuy the same character?  If they wanted to rerelease characters why can't they put AJ and Fluttershy back out? At least those are relatively scarce.

I have to admit that I'm not really feeling it.  I wish that they had changed the colors of her symbol to match everything else like they did on black tie Pinkie.  As it is, it clashes with the other colors.  I also would have chosen different colors, shades of purple and blue.  The primary colors just look odd on Rarity in my opinion.

All in all, I think that I will just be saving up for the new characters.

First off, I should say that I like her because she is a little different.

However, with that being said, I can't help think of the diamond on her cheek like the tear drop tats that criminals get that represent someone they've killed. And then it makes me think of this image:

I like her because it is Rarity and not Pinkie Pie but, like everyone else is saying they could have made another pony. I just don't get the logic in the same ol' ponies over and over. All I see left on the shelves are the Mane Six and the other characters are all sold out. Heck, I even saw Mane six from Waves back on the shelves at out Target while Sunset Shimmer was gone.

The logic is that these toys are primarily aimed at little girls, who are watching the cartoon. Each day new little girls are finding the cartoon for the first time, and those new customers don't want some background character or a character they've never seen before. They want their favorite character that they see on the TV. Thus Hasbro has to keep the Mane 6 on the shelves at all times, to fulfill that need.

However that doesn't mean they couldn't ALSO have new characters on the shelf beside the Mane 6. Because yeah, kids aren't going to always want 55 copies of Pinkie Pie in different styles or with different hats or accessories, and parents aren't going to buy 55 Pinkie Pies even if their kids did want each new release. So it's a balance that Hasbro hasn't figured out yet.

But at least they'll be able to buy Wysteria, and Mrs. Dazzle Cake and Twirly Treats, and Sunset Shimmer, and (presumably, eventually) Minty, and all the princesses, and Queen Chrysalis and Diamond Dazzle Tiara and Lyra Heartstrings and Lyrica Lilac and Shining Armor, and all the various blindbag-sized character packs, and the background character Funko figures, and the background character Funrise plushies.

Oh, hey, that's much better than the socks look. Interesting to see these things actually getting multiple designs, and partially justifies the $760 (or whatever) price tag for that one Dr. Hooves, if he'll probably be getting covered in hourglasses instead.

What just kills me is that they can bother to paint both wings and yet only one side gets a cutie mark?
