How do you all feel about her? is she worth getting? The least I can find her for on eBay is $132. Is that worth it? I want her so bad! I love her molded hair and her light up box!! :cool:

She is really nice, but that's kind of a ridiculous price.
I would personally try and wait until after SDCC is over and try and snag one from the Hasbrotoyshop website. You'll always be able to pay 132 for her later if you can't get it from the source.

I'll be trying to get her from the hasbro site after the convention, because there ain't no way I'm shelling out any $100 for her!

Check completed auctions- looks like she is going from $55 - $100- but more often in the $70 range. Hasbrotoyshop may have some up on Monday. More will come up for sale as people realize they'd rather have the money than the pony (she is not as popular as the Muffin pony)

i disagree actually, i think Vinyl and Octavia are the most popular background ponies! :biggrin:

i disagree actually, i think Vinyl and Octavia are the most popular background ponies! :biggrin:
I'm not talking about the character- I'm talking about the SDCC collectible.
Funko's VInyl is actually better sculpted and 1/5th the price.

I agree with Galatica, there is no where near the scale of WANT for this pony this year. On the Arena last year we had a 70+ page thread just waiting for Drama Pony to show up for sale and they sold out in minutes at both the Fair and SDCC.
This year she is no where near as popular and, yes, I think it is to do with a better and significantly cheaper version of the same pony, in a near identical pose/style being released by Funko in a few months.
She will not go live on Hasbro Toy Shop until Monday; all exclusives only go live after the event as then they will know stock remaining from event and can add that, if there is any, to the amount already committed to the website.
You just need to be up early and stalking HTS in order to snap her up. She will not be on there for long so you need to have everything ready and in place in order to purchase her. For a start make sure you are registered with the site.

Re the DJ and demand- I agree with Hathorcat- I think one of the reasons for the slower demand for DJ, is the fact that Funko is shortly going to be releasing a similar (and dare I say far superior) product in just a couple months.

Re the DJ and demand- I agree with Hathorcat- I think one of the reasons for the slower demand for DJ, is the fact that Funko is shortly going to be releasing a similar (and dare I say far superior) product in just a couple months.

holy Celestia!!!!!! i knew about the other ponies but I had no idea about Vinyl!!!!!!!!!! :cool: :biggrin: sadly, she has no light up box, a feature i love, but she still pretty darned accurate!!! :shocked:

I completely agree! Thanks for showing pics of these again galactica. After much consideration I decided to order the sdcc funko :muffin: Pony to complete my sdcc funko set and just wait for funko vinyl to come out. She sure does look better for a much cheaper price.

I went on YouTube and found nothing. I'm surprised no one has done so yet. Lord knows it would probably be the first thing I'd do if I had her.

There's pics of her on eBay showing the lights in the box, but I'm not sure if the actual pony lights up since the button you push to get the lights going is on the front of the display box she's in.

I'll be selling one at the UK Ponycon in September... not sure what to ask for her yet! I guess I'll wait until the leftover SDCC ones go up for sale and see what her average price is like then.

Let the hasbro toy shop stalking begin! I feel like last year Grey Pegasus didn't go up until like Wednesday? I just remember days of frustration and F5ing and then I was out with family when she went up and I didn't snag her.
