Well, my fears have come true. Ponies are being included with the equestria dolls. I'm just glad they're not brushables, or else I'd be having a tantrum. I am just not interested in the dolls at all, but I thought I'd share anyways. Btw, these are being featured as pre-orders. Thanks to Big Bad Toy Store for the pic.

Ooh. I hope those are the jointed dolls. I'm buying those for sure.
-
That's good marketing, I'll need to see the dolls in person before I decide if I'm going to collect them or not.
-
Wow, how cute! I saw the dolls for sale today at Target (Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Twilight) but they weren't packaged like this, just the dolls themselves without any ponies. I'm not much of a doll collector (at least not these types) so I passed them by, but Rarity was pretty darn tempting.

CELESTIA! *Throws credit card @ screen* I must obtain her!!! :dribble:
Hey, im happy they decided to finalize the release of her EQG toys white instead of pink!
-
I saw those on BBTS- trying to resist till they hit amazon. They don't look jointed but hopefully I'm wrong
-
The tails look brushable.
Personally I'm really stoked on the dolls. I think they are super cute! And I'm glad ponies will be coming with some because maybe I can score some cheaper dolls after pony collectors buy the set and just want the pony. <3
-
Not joined and they have no feet. just molded boots. -_-

Ditto to everything you said! I'm not even a huge Celestia fan, but I MUST HAVE THAT DOLL!!!
-
Momma always said "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all", so I'm not. :P
I hope the dolls don't become like a big huge thing though and are mostly for the movie release. Celestia looks younger as a doll then I would have pictured her to look.
-
Those ponies look great, even if the tails are cheap brushable ones! I hope a way to get them separately turns up eventually.
-
Ah, so THIS is where this year's McDonald's ponies ended up! LOL
I'm just kidding. The Celestia pony is actually pretty cute, but I'm not at all interested in the dolls.
-

ha i was just thinking they look like McD's toys
not interested in molded hair, thank goodness, i wanted fluttershy of these but the ball joints for feet freaked me out
-
Yeah these are like the McDs ponies with brushable tails and moulded manes - ECK! Though I always like the occasional "still MLP but only by a strand of hair" type of thing for my collection, so? XD
-
I think I'm alone in thinking the pony figures are awesome and finally show accurate, and I totally want them over the dolls.

You're not. :)
-
Celestia's hair is really pretty, but I would only enjoy the jointed dolls. I like the ponies too, but I wish they had brushable hair. What's fun about no hair?
-
MUST HAVE! I will definitely be getting Celestia. I've already got a TS EG doll, but I'll look twice at this one.
-
Celestia looks really nice! And she's white!
-
I really like the Celestia pony! I don't know about the doll.
-
The Celestia pony is one of the better ones they've done of her.
-
I think it is kind of sneaky.
-
I love the Twilight pony too- she looks really great!
-
Since I first saw these packs, I am loving the Celestia doll. She is my favourite.
-
No interest in the dolls, but...crap, those ponies are adorable.... >_<
-
I really want to love the ponies but.... gah, molded mane with brushable tail? It just looks so cheap.... though I do really love that they have different sculpts for TS and Celestia's manes, and that Celestia is white.
-
Gah! I'm hoping somepony out there wants the dolls but not the ponies, and sells them to me... those ponies are SO cute! :faint:
-
Momma always said "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all", so I'm not. :P
This. :)
-
I must have that P.Celestia pony figurine!
-
Yes, finally seeing them in their packaging. I will be getting both of these. Sadly have not seen any Eguestria Girls in store so will wait. So many Twilight's to choice from, getting this version and most likely the one with Sunset Shimmer (to get Sunset Shimmer) but think I may pass on the basic single.
-
Argh, I want the Celestia pony toy, but I actually rather dislike dolls. u_u Will have to keep my eye out for people selling just her by herself.
-
O-O celestia? why??
i love celestia and her haircolors can be arranged to such a pretty haircut/stxle, and now this. ;o;
oh, lets just randomly give her a stripe here and there,.. >o< maybe i am to spoiled from customs and cosplayversions of her.
what also bugs me, is that she doesn´t look a tad older than the others, just like in the same age. ^^" uhm, why?
-
I think I'm alone in thinking the pony figures are awesome and finally show accurate, and I totally want them over the dolls.
You're not. :)
Nope, I'm with you too :D

These are exactly my thoughts too. I'd rather they have either all brushable hair or all molded hair, but I still think these little pony figures are cool. I don't care for the dolls at all though :(
-
I don't care for the dolls and can't justify throwing money at something I mostly dislike to get one little thing I do. Hopefully just the loose versions of the ponies pop up for sale.
-
I wonder if we should set up trades for people who only want the doll vs. only people who want the pony. One person would buy, say, the Twilight, keep the doll, and send the pony to their partner. The partner would buy Celestia, package up the doll, and send that. Or would it just be easier to buy them by oneself and sell the parts you don't want?
-
To be fair, ponies and dolls being sold as a set are as old as Megan and Sundance in the 1980's. Though the humanizing the Pony trend is new and disturbing...
