Thank you all for your awesome entries! It was hard for me to choose, REALLY hard. But I made my choice with the help of my co-workers.

THE WINNERS ARE:

Info: 1st Place can choose from the prizes first, 2nd Place can choose from the two remaining prizes and 3rd Place gets the last prize :)

1st Place: mul-ta with her Lieutenant Monocle! i love the drawing and the story is too funny! (still laughing about the piefke ponies) :D

I always wanted to do a free to join drawing or photo contest here but unfortunatly the shipping costs in my country (Austria, Europe) are so high (25 dollars for just 1 pony to the US) that I couldnt justify it.

BUT! I recently got this cute UNWORN (new) G1 My little Pony Glory T-Shirt in Size SMALL (its stretchy) and thought: hey, that would make a great prize as it is so flat that shipping costs would be lower  ^.^

Now for the contest:

Theme
Show me Boy Ponies! Any Generation, Customs, any Media (Photo, Drawing, etc.) and i LOVE moustaches! :D

Rules
1. No reusing photos from other contests
2. Only 3 submissions per member
3. They have to be submitted by the deadline

Judging
I will choose the three pics i like best  :P

Hahah I'm glad you like it! :biggrin: I tried to pick.... "theme appropriate moustaches" for each boy, I think I have to say that Barnacles and Steamers are my favorite, those little wispy ones, haha :lol:

it can be art too :) and the moustache is optional but it surely gives you bonus points :D

Hahaha I had so much fun with this! I don't have a good editing software so I had to use real life photos to get most of what I wanted across, lol but I couldn't think of a better ERMAHGERD pony that Princess Rinse 'n Spit! :lol:

This is Lieutenant Monocle. He's one of the Prussian Officer Ponies,  an incredibly unpopular German exclusive set commonly known as "Piefke-Ponys" over at zora's side of the border. :snicker: He's a snotty little pony whose hobbies include playing skat with his jolly sidekick, Willy the Bushwoolie.

I've got the unpleasant feeling of having combined two things that should not have been brought together, but I had to get this pony out of my head. While he's not necessarily contest winner material, this sure was a great excuse to paint him. I've been toying with the idea of a set of custom Prussian Lieutenant Pony Wear, but I'm not exactly a needlework person so that will have to wait.

By the way, Lt. Monocle has a coral forelock, the color of Cherries Jubilee's hair. Also, Bushwoolies are harder to draw than one would think.

I don't think so, that would be because I'm more knowledgeable than average on all things Imperial German. :) I'm so happy to hear he is being loved, I'm always a bit scared of posting my crazy ideas.

Yep, watercolors on smooth (hot pressed) Arches paper, the outlines are watercolor pencil.
