It appears that the Big Nightmare Moon and Shadowbolt Dash are going to be SDDCC exclusive in the TRU show area ?

I assume it's just like Zecora last year, not fully SDCC exclusive, just as a preview release before the real release in august. I hope so at least, I'm sick of exclusives that can be gotten months ahead of time on Taobao or ebay if you so desire, yet end up being some super limited release.
But I think its safe to say this is just a prerelrease, and they will truly be released at TRU soon.

I agree its more a pre release than an exclusive but pretty cool to see them so soon :) And at least this is an SDCC release that people will manage to pick up in store eventually.

She was confirmed at the Toy Fair as being a single release pony. Basically the same idea as Zecora last year.

They're already up on their website with a release date of July 18th. Anyone know why the Princess Twilight Sparkle has a 50 dollar price tag?

And I agree wit you, they both look mush better than DJ-pon 3, I don't have anything against her but it would be nicer is she could be a funko exclusive, wit that plastic hair and bathed in glitter and crystals is not the cup of tea of everyone :huh:

Because she is all singing, all dancing, lights up, flaps her wings and is absolutely massive. Or those I am sure are the reasons Hasbro are using to try and justify the crackers price I imagine.

The toys which showed at the toy show yes were Cadance, SA, Queen Chrysalis, Lyrica, Drama Pony, Diamond Tiara and Lyra. However, oddly Lyra has not shown up at all on Taobao when the other 6 have. So I am certain 6 of them are staying the same. However the Lyra...well we will have to wait and see.

Also crossing my fingers that Minty is replacing Lyra in the favorites set. I don't need another Lyra. Well, I also don't need a Cadance...

See, now I'm imagining going to the store, finding one and there was a terrible mix-up at the factory and when I press her cutie mark button I hear a very loud "HULK SMASH!".
I would buy her ASAP.

I just looked these 2 up on TRU website and I love that Shadowbolt Dash has the same style box as Zecora. I'm totally going to keep her MIB like my Zecora. Does anyone know what parts of her glow in the dark?
I too am dying to know what talking NMM's phrases are.

I never bought the large Celestia or Cadence, but I WILL get a big Nightmare Moon. :D Very awesome indeed.

Oooh I want Shadowbolt Dash. The reality of tracking one down? Not going to happen.
But that's just due to personal funds etc. Good luck to everyone trying to get either of those two.

Nightmare Moon will be on my g4 shelf. I really really hope she's a preview.. I always miss out on exclusives. My TRU barely has any mlp, and its an hour away from where I live.
I just don't wanna have to buy her on ebay for loads of $.. >_<

If you post a wanted ad over in the wanted forum when she is more widely available, you will certainly find a member or 2 who is willing to help you get her. She will also be available for home delivery as well of course eventually on the website :) If the previous stock levels on both of these sets are any kind of indication they are not going to be limited and after the initial rush to buy them, they will be pretty plentiful.

TRU will ship internationally but I believe its expensive. Alternatively if you post over in Wanted once she starts showing up in stores, I am sure you ll find an Arena member who can help you out.

Both ponies will be available on TRU's website on July 18th. So if you aren't able to make it to the fair or SDCC, like me, we will still be able to get them soon.

For sure she will be on line and in stores. She is being previewed at SDCC, she is not exclusive to the show. She is far too profitable a toy to not get a regular release :)

They're up for order now, Dashie is $10 like Zecora was before they decided she was worth $18, so it might be a good idea to snag one now.

Woohoo! Just placed my order for them. And shipping was only about $7. It would've taken $20 in gas to go to Topeka and buy them. :frolic:

Yep they are both available for pre-order now, very dissapointed though as they wont ship internationally :( -_- even though it originally said they would when it was first listed. Really hoping a member on here would be kind enough to order one of each for me and I can reimburse them.
I'm actually surprised to wake up and not see someone listing some for sale already, especially at those prices.

I placed my order too. :). They have a limit of 1 per customer, but last year I was able to order 2 Zecoras by placing 2 seperate orders, and it worked. The same might be true this time around.

I tried 3 times, it comes up with an error stating that they are not available for international orders. I went to their facebook page and there are lots of international people complaining that they can't place their orders. TRU's system isn't allowing it to go through. So incredibly bummed about it lol

My Shadowbolt Rainbow Dash arrived today!! I got her off eBay.... her mane is literally slathered in a glue-y gel... ridiculous amounts. It is SOLID. I had to seriously wash her mane and comb all the gunk out, it was tough!! But once she dries she should be fine.

Mine arrived a few days ago - but they are Christmas presents for my girls. But I was quite happy with NMM - I'm considering buying another one for myself!
