So it's the end of June ... and the Applejack and Octavia plushies are still no-shows in my area. This is ridiculous! Are they popping up any better anywhere else yet?
I'm starting to wonder if Applejack merchandise is just destined to be rare everywhere. I haven't seen her Crystal Empire figure in weeks.

Unfortunately I haven't seen the Applejack and Octavia plushie in my area either :( and I do believe that G4 Applejack is doomed to be a rarity :(

Attention My Little Pony Fans:
We are aware that many of you have experienced difficulty locating Applejack and Octavia plush in stores. Please note, we are expecting replenishment shipments of MLP assortments that will include Applejack and Octavia in the next few weeks. Once we receive the assortments, they will be shipped to Walmart distribution centers in which case you should see them on shelf in the next couple of months, depending on when the inventory is distributed to individual retailers. We appreciate all of your continued support and are happy to hear all of your comments regarding how much you love our MLP plush!

OH MY GOSH I KNOW! Please dont laugh, but I am currently an overnight stocker full time.... the norm, I work in toys... the cases for them come in every few weeks and NO APPLEJACK! =O Plently of Rarity now, but I havnt seen AJ or Octavia so far. Ridiculous is correct! I need to complete the six set, driving me crazy! x'D

Heehee I think the discount on ponies is honestly my favorite part about about working there to be honest! Especially when stuff is marked down! x'D

I haven't even found RARITY yet! Fitting, I suppose. My walmart sucks, they got new plushies, but its just more Twi, Pinkie, and Fluttershy. Like, gee, why would anyone want those NEW characters?

I've only seen 2 applejacks here and snagged 1 of them.

Unfortunately part of the issue is probably if stores are still carrying stock of the original 3, FS or Rarity. Most big retailers will class these items as the same product - so if they have "10 Funrish Plush" in stock, they may not actively request more stock from their DCs because they dont think they need them. Hopefully thats not the case though and its just that Funrise are being slow to ship. I hope everyone looking can pick them up soon.

I saw a Rarity and a Fluttershy at one Walmart but no AJ. Keeping my eye peeled, AJ's my second favorite FiM pony.

Wow, even Funrise is aware of the problem. And they're sending replenishment shipments? Who in the world is getting hold of all the first shipments so that they need to replenish? Man.
My Wal-Mart and another nearby Wal-Mart keep going out of stock with the plushies and then get more, but it's never Apple and Octavia, unless someone snaps them up the instant they're out.

My local walmart has 3 AJs and at least 1 of every "mane 6" pony. No Octavia, though.

Applejackkkkkkk!!!! I need her in my life lol! I check every time I go to Walmart and have not seen her once. I grabbed the one Rarity I saw :P

I haven't gone to Walmart to look and see if Octavia is there (actually I haven't been out to pony places much at all to avoid temptation before the Fair) but we definitely have Applejacks and Raritys. I do hope she is at Walmart though, because there is only one in my area. I'm not a huge fan of background ponies but I think Octavia is pretty!

All I keep seeing the last couple times I checked are the Twilight and Pinkie Pie plushies.

I managed to find the 6-inch AppleJack at Hot Topic last month, but no sign of the 10-inch version of her or Octavia yet . :(
I've only seen 10 inch Rarity once, and that's because my friend found her for me at Walmart and knew I was looking for her. And this was back in late April(?).
It wouldn't surprise me if some stores actually do have AJ and/or Octavia in the back, but aren't putting them out until the current plushies gets sold. Most of Walmarts in my area have a lot of TS, RD, and PPs with the occasional FS ones still on the shelves. Same with Hot Topic and their 6 inch ones.

I found Applejack but no Octavia. Didn't know she was out yet, honestly.
Someone on the MH Arena said Walmart isn't going to be restocking/changing stock until August?

I found one AJ up here, quite a while ago... The shelf had obviously just been stocked and there was only one. I sold her on eBay though. I have yet to see another one, or Octavia.

My little one is dying for Tavi. She has to go look every time and always nothing. We found Rarity forever ago too.

I haven't been to Wal-Mart in forever (probably will go soon, on account of DVDs they have), but I have good luck with the first three, saw Fluttershy once, didn't buy, wanted to later, was gone (rats), and saw EXACTLY ONE Rarity.
She went home with me.

I have only seen the 6" of Applejack and bought one of the 2 at Hot Topic. As for 10: plushies it is Twilight Sprakle, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity but no Applejack or Octavia in sight. Even the newly stocked shevles a few days ago had none. I hope to see either of them soon.

Gosh, I didn't even know Octavia was out! I just got the little AJ the other day, but that was only because my mom found her for me. I only see TS, PP, and RD, with occasionally a Fluttershy and Rarity and AJ almost never.

No Applejack or Octavia that I've seen, either! :( Sad face!!! I got lucky and found Rarity at Target (once, months ago, and then never again...) but I broke down and got Fluttershy from Hot Topic when she first showed up. >_> Paying higher prices sucks, but seriously, if your distribution is gonna be THAT BAD, I'd rather pay the higher price to ensure I get the dang thing! :P

I found Rarity at Walmart, but passed her up. I was short on cash and was hoping to find her somewhere other than Walmart. Though I would probably cave if I found Octavia.

THey're probably just selling out lightning fast. There are seriously never any plushies or ponies in stock EVER at my Target (except walking talking Pinkie)... much less the more highly sought ones.

Yay someone else here who works there! xD I honestly went overnite there not just for good pay but to get first pick of the newest ponies and get a 10% discount on them! x3 More money for ponies and what I pay just gets cycled back to me through payday and bonuses! LOL!

Smyths Toy Stores carry the Funrise Plush - that should be cheaper for you if you have one locally. And Argos also have the 20inch Pinkie.

Its not just the stores though - the stores could have stock in their own stock areas which are of the early waves or even the DCs which are supplying them could still have earlier waves. Unfortunately when toys are sold in assortment and ever changing waves it makes it can be tough to track down items as waves progress and distribution can start to look really patchy.
Its also not helping that AJ, Rarity and Octavia are being dispatched in assortments with the earlier released ponies. So if a store gets an assortment they may get 2 Rarities and then another 2 each of the first 3 - which means the Rarities get snapped up and you are back to more of the first 3 sitting on shelves again.

Hunting Hint! The best time to hunt for ponies at a Walmart is after 5am ish, but not before it gets busy in the morning. By 5am everything we can put out is there on the shelf we kind of clean our areas from then until mid morning-when it starts getting busy! Early bird gets the worm, err....pony! ;D

I found two Applejacks last weekend and picked them up. One for me and one for an overseas friend. They did have trouble with her at the register though because she wasn't in the system yet. So it took 20min two employes and finally a manager just to buy them :/
No sign of Octavia yet.

i found the Walmart Applejack a week ago, and also had some trouble trying to ring her up at the register. :( I did manage to get her, thankfully.

Oh yes, you should have, if she was in good condition! I finally saw Apple and Octavia at Wal-Mart about a week and a half ago, and every Apple was floppy like she'd been packed badly! The Octavias were all firm, so I picked my favorite of those and waited a couple of days to get to another Wal-Mart to get Apple. I found a firm one, but I didn't notice until I got her home that she was lop-eared! The machine had sewn her right ear lower than her left. Gah. But I'm definitely not taking her back.
I wonder, though, are there any Apples that don't have some sort of flaw?! This is rather bizarre, first a bunch of floppy ones and then a lop-eared one!
And by the way, a week after I found Octavia, all the Apples and other Octavias were gone from the local Wal-Mart. That was exactly what I figured would happen. I'm glad I managed to pounce on them when I could!

I found Octavia last night :) same scanning issue as AJ but the person at the register didn't give me any trouble this time.

I saw a rarity at my walmart a few weeks ago but at the time I was a little low on cash so I wasn't able to get her. However, I went back the next week with the money to get her, but she was no longer there and they haven't got another one since. Plus I still have not seen a single Applejack at any walmart I've been to.

I have all 6 of the main ponies in the 5" size. For the funrise plush I don't like them any bigger than that. I was glad to hear Octavia is also in the 5" size. Can't wait to get her.

walmart finally had octavia and applejack, i was only able to get one so i got octavia but now the delema of do i keep it (i dont collect plush) or give it to my daughter...its so cute!

I visited a tonne of stores in South Carolina this weekend but could not find anything other than Pinkie. Shame, I would have loved an Octavia.

Octavia's tag says only at walmart on it, i dont know if all those plushies are that way but they are making it to stores cuz the walmart i went to today did not have them last week... and when they scanned her tag she wasnt even in the system yet.

The 2 different sizes are exclusive to the 2 different stores. Just to make things even more awkward :(

I found tons of AJ, 1 Rarity and tons of Octavia at the Ogdensburg, NY Walmart. Just over the border so great for any Canadians in the Kingston- Ottawa region

I just bought Applejack a few days ago - I don't collect G4s but I bought it as a prize for the MI Pony Meet - I didn't have a clue that she was hard to find.

It's old news, but I finally found AJ and Ocravia. I couldn't buy AJ without the hat.

That looks like the hat I was thinking of buying with mine! (I didn't in the end; I barely had enough to get Apple and Octavia.) It looks really cute! Love the instrument with Octavia, too. :)
