Does anybody know when these are supposed to be released? I thought both were being released at the beginning of June but haven't seen any posts or news about them. I really want a TY Pinkie!
Also,do you know if they are being released in the UK?

There are G4 beanies!? :D Weiird because my husband and I were just discusing "what if they made beanie baby ponies?" LOL!!! Are there pictures of these? I might get them if they are small!

I have not seen these yet in a store but I believe that both should be out now. I think I read some where they were to be out June 13th 2013. I have been looking for both kinds but only know of a store that sells the beanie babies. Still need to find a store that sells Aurora brand.

The Aurora ones have been on Taobao recently and I *Really* wanted to get one but they were quite pricey on there, so I figured I'd try my luck and wait for them in stores.
I've actually just bought those three TY ones from ebay.... let's see what turns up in the post because it's that exact photo, which looks like a promo photo of sorts. So we'll see what turns up in the post - fingers crossed ^.^

According to this (http://www.mylittleponynews.com/2013/02/ty-beanie-baby-my-little-pony.html), they were expected to be released this month. However, this news is from February so does anyone know if the date has been changed since?

Aw,thank you! :biggrin: I *think* Aurora is only available in the US so you're in luck! I'm hoping the Ty beanies will make it to the UK at least

We get Aurora in the UK and a lot of Europe too but I think when these were initial press released the market was US and Canada only for both of them.
Aurora I think are now officially a July release - Aurora will be at the US Pony Fair so I am sure the plush themselves will be on shelves around the same time in order to coincide. As to the TY, the date I heard was mid June too so I am guessing they will either show up any day now or they have been pushed back as well for weeks/months.

aww the ty are cute , but I wonder are those going to be the only ones, fluttershy would be cute as one of those.
I think they may see if TS,PP and RD sell well first as they are probably the most popular ponies,if they do maybe they'll do a second wave with the others? I'd love a Fluttershy too,she's my favourite pony :)

On Taobao I think the Aurora ones worked out at just over $40. Hence I left them. I don't know what the price point wil be when they are released, but I hope it's lower than that -_-

The Taobao ones were also pre-orders. I ordered one and my agent contacted me to say they were pre-orders to be filled in July so even Taobao doesn't have them yet.

lol mine were mostly the mcdonalds one, we had pretty much every one from garage sale huntings plus some larger sized ones! =D I always wanted that white dragon one... I think his name is magic?

I'm a retailer of horse stuff, and just got Aurora's mid-year catalog, featuring MLP. I don't see anything at all about a release date, so I suspect they are already shipping to stores. (I'm certainly a tiny, tiny customer of theirs, so I'd suspect their larger accounts had opportunity to place orders previously.)
Im willing to post pictures of the catalog layout pages, if there's interest. I suppose I could even send the catalog to someone who is particularly interested in MLP plushes.

40$ US? Wow. The wholesale price on the 10" Aurora plush is $8.50, when purchasing at least 6, in multiples of 6. Plus, shipping charged to the retailer.
So, Id expect to see them offered at 20$ in most stores.

I got my TYs in the post today so as promised here are some photos ^.^
They are super cute, not very "beanie" though, just beans in the feet.
The hair is nice, like the build-a-bear perhaps. The bit over the top of the head, between the ears, is short like a fringe but as it runs along the seam it doesn't really sit like a fringe, if you understand me.
Pinkies hair has a cute kinda curl but this has made it really dry :huh: I wonder if it's from the heat process or whatever used to set it.
Twilights horn is nicely done I think, and is made of a kinda sparkly material.
I just need to hope for the other three now :biggrin:

My bf pre-ordered the Aurora Rarity for me for my birthday from ToyWiz but he says it hasn't shipped yet, nor have they charged him for it. The site says it would ship in June but it's nearly the end of the month.
Same goes for me and the TY Pinkie I pre-ordered for a friend for her birthday. I haven't been charged and she hasn't received it. I hope they just miscalculated the release date. I'm glad to see that the TY ponies are popping up in stores.

Though I have to remind, I got these from a seller on an ebay store, but I believe they are due out in stores - Cupcake lover said she heard they were out near her and Cron said they remember them being out a while ago.
I just didn't want to wait and spend time wondering around looking lol :lol:

Hallmark, Walgreens, hospital gift shops, Justice, Old Navy, sometimes Kohl's has beanies...those are the best places to start when on a beanie hunt. :3
