This is my first custom in a while, I'm out of practise at painting. Her name is Athena and I'm really proud of her, she has the best tail that I've managed to sculpt so far.
She is for sale. I don't know what to price her at so make me an offer if you're interested. :)

Gorgeous!! I love the tail gradients!
-
ooh very pretty. I like how you did her scales and coloring

Out of curiosity, what sculpting material did you use for the tail? Some sort of polymer? Also, did you use tinfoil or similar to shape the tail before applying the clay? I haven't done anything like this myself yet, but I've done some reading up on various techniques, so I'm just wondering. :)

I didn't use tin foil again because I could never get the shape right that way. The tail is actually solid as I used super sculpey to get the shape right, then did the fins and scales with apoxie sculpt. She's pretty heavy as a result but much more stable and the shape is much smoother. Will be doing it again.

Thank you!:)
