Here's my brag :)! Sorry for the wait. Himmie was my wonderful partner :D.
This is my first official swap and ideas so surprised to be the first to receive my box. My mom and I opened my box together. All the presents were fun to open. I love the wrapping paper. Himmie you did a wonderful job! Wrapping paper is to doe for and your ponies are so minty.

My favorites of the bunch are Cheerilee and I absolutely adore my taf sweet tooth (she's so minty)! And those stickers and chocolate :)!!!!! My sister already ate some of my chocolate.

Yay! I am glad it arrived safely and it appears the chocolate items did not become soup on the way. ;) It was definitely a fun shopping experience since I got to try to figure out G4 in the process, haha. (So hopefully those were the right ones!) :)

Woo-hoo, I just remembered that Sternenstaub had opened up a brag thread for the swap. So exciting to see the first brag! Wow, himmie, you did a fantastic job. The ponies look great and I love all the fun and colourful extras.

Despite my good intentions, I still am not quite prepared with my brag. I took an insanely long nap which accounts for me being awake at 5 o'clock in the morning, but even so I am starting to peter out again and am going back to bed for a few hours.
In the meantime, here's a brag teaser:

This picture was cut out and taped to the front of my box. I thought, "How cool! She found pics representing ponies from all four seasons and used them to decorate my box." ^.^
Later, however, as I was opening up all the amazing goodies, I found a folder with this inside:

I looked a little closer and saw MOONFLOWER 2013 printed on the vertical black bar separating the four images. I already know she is a great artist by virtue of her awesome adoptables, but wow.... !! She totally blew me away here. Now I have a beautiful print and reminder of our 4-Seasons Swap as envisioned by the talented moonflower. :hug:

All my extras! I got so many cute Hawaaii specific things my favorite is the stuffed dolphin keychain that says I love Hawaii. There is a cute coffee mug to go with the coffee and I got plenty of tasty snacks. My sister wondered if I had been sent macadamias and then the chocolate covered ones were revealed. Unfortunately the heat melted them altogether in a big mass so I put them in the freezer and will just break them apart, they'll still be tasty :biggrin:

And here are the ponies! Poor Windy appears to leaking plasticiser probably aggravated by the heat, she's all sticky and squishy. I'm so delighted have both Rattles & Tattles now. They look so cute together on my shelf :) Thank you again! Since I haven't really picked up collecting G4 yet I can't decide if I want to open Pinkie or not XD I am an opener really so that will probably be her fate. lol

Glad you all enjoyed the teaser. Now for the REAL brag (rolls up sleeves in preparation of sharing awesomeness):
The first picture I showed was the top of my box from moonflower. Not only did it have the beautiful print-out of her artwork representing four seasons of ponies, but she stuck postcards and stickers on all sides of the box (even on the inside box flaps) of all the things I love: crayons, rainbows, beagles, owls, bears, moose, Disney, Hello Kitty, Snoopy, unicorns... only showing a couple sides here, but you get the picture!!

I opened up everything in the comfort of my bed since I hadn't been feeling well that day, and
I'm certain it took well over a half hour from beginning to end. In the aftermath I was surrounded
by a mountain of wrapping paper. ;) Sleep did me good and I was ready to take the rest of my brag
photos on Saturday.
Starting with the goodies (I'm afraid the two bags of gingerbread men didn't make the shoot):

A small glass jar of fancy-shmancy Douwe Egberts instant coffee, caramel flavoured! Can't wait
to try this. A whole roll of gourmet chocolate chip cookies, which soon met the same fate as the
gingerbread men, lol. I did at least share with my husband and children. ;) Lastly, two huge bars
of delicious Lindt chocolate, both dark (which is our favourite!) and in two of our most-loved
flavour combos, coconut and caramel w/ sea salt! The only reason these haven't been devoured
yet is because we have been too busy getting the house ready for our visitors on Wednesday.

A Hello Kitty water bottle that rolls up for easy travel, some fun summer ice cream bowls, a new
ice cream scoop (which we needed, by the way!), a My Little Pony jump rope for my little girl,
some ocean-themed beads for me to use in my jewelry-making, fun stampers, and a Skittles
candle that smells so good my son snuck it in his backback to take to school with him on Monday,
lol!!! Thankfully I found it when I was bringing the boys' backpacks up to their room on Saturday,
otherwise it wouldn't have made the photo shoot. :P

An iron-on Beagle patch and the cutest li'l crocheted Beagle I've ever seen!!! Oh my goodness,
she is just too adorable. I had to nuzzle her nose and talk sweetly to her and kiss her little forehead.
I knew right away that this wasn't just any crocheted Beagle... moonflower MADE her for me!!
She is even wearing a special collar saying so. ^.^ moonflower, really, I love her so much and
am incredibly grateful for such a thoughtful, beautiful homemade gift. :hug:

MIB Lovely Ladybug, Baby Pineapple, Sunset Shimmer, and G3 Minty. They are all absolutely
perfect, and just WOW.... Baby Pineapple!!! She is my favourite of the Baby Paradise ponies, and
also my first! I thought it would be a long while before I added any of this set to my collection.
As excited as I am about her, I am totally thrilled with the other three as well. All ones I really
wanted (well, naturally, they were on my list, but you know what I mean, lol...) :P

I wish I knew how to explain just what this means to me. One of the swap questions asked if we would like a custom pony as part of our box, and if so, what we might like to see. I mentioned that I would love to have a custom Greek Ladybird (since I know I'll never have the real deal), but I honestly never expected that my partner would be willing to undertake such a monumental task. When I first saw her, I clapped my hand over my mouth and just stared for several seconds. Yes, even got a little teary. :blush: Not only is she a beautiful custom pony, but she has got to be one of the closest imitations to a Hasbro pony I've ever seen. Maybe even better than Hasbro!

Thanks, NinaMarie... I don't know what I did to deserve the luxury treatment with this swap, but I certainly am grateful. Going to put my crocheted Beagle and Greek Ladybird on display on my dresser -- as soon as it's clean, lol!!!

The lipbalm smells absolutely divine - it was inside the egg which was one of the first things I opened and I could smell it as I was opening everything - it was heaven! ^.^

Awww, thanks... you made my box seem so much more awesome than it actually is, lol. I tried to send the mintiest ponies I could; unfortunately, Brilliant Bloom's forehead gem has a slight chip in it. She's still pretty, but I wish I had had a nicer one to send. And Mainsail has the slight dryness to the colour-changing parts of her mane and tail. Otherwise, I *think* they are all in near mint condition. So glad you are pleased with everything. I don't know why I didn't think to stray from the seasonal theme at all. As you may recall from the Make a Wish swap, I sort of go gung-ho when I come up with a theme. This one was already set in place for me, of course, and I think I felt paralysed to stray from it, lol.
I am glad you like the earrings, too. I was going for the "pastel rainbow" effect. :) I feel sort of silly with my measly homemade contribution next to yours, but you are so sweet and grateful anyhow. I really appreciate that. I realise that I am the one doing the comparing and that it's not all about tit-for-tat, although I'm sure you can understand now why I wanted to steal my box back from the post office. :lol: I could have at least made some homemade cookies. :lookround:

Look at that amazing Basket Ivy! She's so silky and smooth! And a custom BB Glory, so my Firefly will have a friend! Her flank is so detailed, and her hair is so shiny! Graceful Glimmer, still in her package, a cute little snowflake ornament (did you make that, too, Nina?) and the most adorable little bear hat for our coming little one! I have a serious weakness for animal things, like those little socks with faces- this is so cute! And since it wasn't about to fit on the dog, I had to put it on my long-suffering Turkey Buddy. He's not the brightest bulb on the tree, but he's a good guy. He used to ride on my shoulder when he was small, but now he's about 40 pounds, so no more parrot-ing for him. But he still hangs out with me, so he got to try on the hat.
Nina, since it has Turkey germs now, I should hand-wash in cold, right? Just don't want to ruin it, because you did such an amazing job, and I truly love it!
Oh, and about Graceful Glimmer- I didn't think she was sold in a bag like this- I thought she came in a package like the other g3's. Is this is a special release, or do you just have access to a bagging machine? She's in amazing shape, regardless, and her little crown blinks like anything- I just want to know if this is her original package, or if I can open her guilt-free.

I made funny noises at this extra- it's a canning decoration kit! It's got paper tops and tags and the pretty string to attach them! Now even my not-so-pretty jars of plum jelly could look pretty!
And Razzaroo! I'm afraid she's an official army now- I was trying not to fall for the trap of the army, but this one is so pretty it just pushes me over the edge. Also, she has a package, and my birthday is in Fall! Did you plan that?

I'm so glad you liked your box Aurora! I was a little sad to not be able to stuff a million extras in so I tried to make them the best.
Little Glory was painted my sister, I did the body but she did all the details. We are pretty proud of her.
I believe Graceful Glimmer was bagged by the seller I got her from so there shouldn't be any guilt in opening :biggrin:
Yes I made the ornament too. The hat is definitely washable but hand wash only, lol sorry.
I couldn't resist the canning decoration kit, it's so adorable!
I wish I could take credit for masterminding the Razzaroo birthday thing but I cannot. You said you like her and I had a lovely double hanging out so in she went XD

NinaMarie, what a lovely box you put together for Aurora! I especially love the extras -- that little bear hat is so adorable!! And the canning kit and book of herbs are really neat, too.

I was really excited that it wasn't raining for once, so I could sit outside. The bugs are biting, but we have guinea birds who eat the bugs, so it's not as bad as it is in other places. We don't spray, because it might hurt the chickens, so every year we get a bigger flock of guineas! They're like bug-eating machines.
Saja, sorry I didn't comment before- I couldn't find a way to fit it into the other post. I know some of the ponies are not as perfect as they could be, but after looking at some of your customs and rehairs, I knew they would have an interesting life with you! And did you at least try the costume on? I would still love pictures, but when I was shopping for a few last-minute things to toss in, I found those and couldn't resist- so even if I never get to see you in them, at least I can imagine! I was so excited, I forgot to buy myself a set. I hope there are some left- every house should have a hula-girl costume.
Nina- everything was perfect. It was easy to see you paid attention to what I liked- there's NOTHING in this box that made me wonder "why is this in here?" which has happened with every other swap. I couldn't be happier- and the fact that you made that perfect little snowflake is icing on the cake!
Did you use a pattern to make the hat? I might have to commission you to make one for me and the husband, so we can be a matching bear family! LOL!

Ever since I learned to make snowflakes I make them every year around christmas and use them to decorate gifts or give away. Yes I used a pattern for the bear hat, I had previously made one as trade with a girl on etsy for my beautiful wooden butterfly necklace.

I have been cleaning like crazy for my in-laws' visit, celebrating my husband's b-day, Father's Day, and daughter's 2nd birthday. Not to mention my husband's PhD graduation on Tuesday. So I definitely relate.

The first item that I saw in Box II was a pony comic! There are so many boys in this one! Unfortunately, I cannot read much of it. I did know it was about Barnacle though. :) Oddly enough, I just lost an auction for the next one in the series a few days ago, it is pictured on the back too. :lol:

Snowdrop! Bubbles and Seashell! Salty! Snowflake and Molasses! Not a fan of most BBEs and NBTs but I'm sure they are lovely, too. ;) The seasonal extras look so fun! Stern, I bet it was tough to part with the Junior Mints lip balm, eh? ^.^ And the plushies are all too adorable. I want to hug that grey moose plush... or is it a reindeer? Whatever it is, it's cute. :lol:

I have provided her with my receipt an the tracking showed it was delivered in June. Ive not heard back from her since, and as ive proved that ive been cleared already. But am really sad that ive not heard from Stern about it.

Stern has let me know she wont be on the arena much anymore, I have asked her if she can brag, but ive not heard back, so ill post a couple pics I took just to show what she got. She did thank me, and said she had a lot of real life issues going as well as internet issues. But the box did get there, held in customs till she was able to go and get it.

I feel really wierd posting a "brag" but at the same time, i REALLY love Stern an put ALOT of time money and effort into this box, you can see now why it cost me $93, and was worth it for me to send it to such a great person.
The plush firefly wasn't sent as it didn't fit the box, but from what I remember everything else was sent. Sterns fave ponies were Sunburst ( a g3 custom), Apple Jack ( a rehair and custom)and Sugar Apple (a rehair). And she also has a Bowtie and Apple jack army. The other ponies were for each season, Italy Cherries Jubilee, Italy Gusty, MIB Seaspray and MIB Lolligiggle, Honey Comb and Baby Stargaze. Some baby items from her want list, And some Bowtie merchandise as well. And cherries jubilee an lickety split plush, as she collects them also.

Wow, Saja.... you're not kidding about the time, money, and effort that went into this box. It's absolutely gorgeous! The rehairs and customs are lovely (my personal faves are Sparkle Pony Applejack and G3 Sunburst), and I love all the cool G1 merchandise, too. I know you said that the Firefly plush didn't make the box, but still... TWO G1 plushes!! They look really nice, too. :) Well done!!

I so relate with you, NinaMarie!! I've been wanting to do a private swap with tulagirl for ages because her boxes to others are always AMAZING. Of course I would do my best to ensure that her box would be amazing, too, but you know what I mean. :P
