So this is my last drawing. I like it, but I don't have a name for her yet. Does anyone have a good idea?

Well done, see I thought her symbol was a tornado. Sorry about that. Shell Queen or Star Shell?

I have at least tried to paint a tornado. However, this has not worked so well.
Some good ideas.. hard to chosse :satisfied:

See, I thought it may have been a tornado cutie mark, and the color of the pony looks to be a sea-ish green/blue so I thought Sea Swirl would work with a tornado (it spins, and the pony has a blue/green coloring) and it would also still make sense if it was a shell too. Tempest would work great for kind of the same reason, and all the other names that have been suggested I like as well.

I just popped in, and her cutie mark does look like a tornado <3. I have to say, out of all the names suggested Sea Swirl is my favorite and it would fit because of her color scheme (in my opinion).
The actual picture is really cute. Did you use acrylic? Love the blending in the sky.

@spiderwax: oh yes, I always work with acrylic colors. It's not always easy, but in my free time I love to try new paintings with them. Usually I work on abstract paintings, but one year ago I made a beautiful Dolphin. Would you like to see some pictures?

You know, I was just wondering something.. what size canvas is that? I don't really know anything about painting or whatnot, but is like.. something close in size to a 9 x 12 paper, or is it a lot larger, or maybe a mini painting?

It is a small canvas with dimensions 20 x 20 cm. I chose this size because it was first used as a testwork.

The first thing I thought of (before reading the post with others' ideas) was "Twister". Simple. 80's Hasbro-ish. She could be Mountain Boy Tornado's little sister :)
After reading the suggestions, "Tempest" is also a good name, but I thought she was calming the storm rather than creating it in your painting. Besides, she doesn't look like a hot-head or a pony with a short fuse. The name Tempest is powerful and belongs on a red or black pony to me - something striking.

I could tell that it was a tornado. I love Tempest, but Twister or Stormy would be cute too. I like simple names. :P
