Sea Ponies seem to be my bane of pony drawing (along with possibly drawing flutterwings but that's a different story). I can get an idea of drawing them from a sort of upright position but I still have issues with getting the bodies right XD
Anyone have tips for drawing them in all sorts of poses?

I find that looking at pictures of seahorses really helps. Just sketch and it'll come out. Good luck - can't wait to see what you come up with!

The best thing like Evie said is to look at real ones and at Hasbro art. Then try doing some simple line drawings, to get how they flow and then flesh them out.

Great advice guys. I am not a drawer myself but I imagine drawing Sea ponies is all about getting a feel for them. I'd just doodle heaps on paper and see what I came up with the worked. Good luck :)

I have similar advice. I have drawn them a few times and I just base them off of Hasbro art and real seahorses. :) Just doodle doodle doodle until you have a style for them that you like.
