Even though I sold off the majority of my Nirvana AJs I've kept my regular U.S. AJ army ponies. I've bought a few extras to spiffy up when time allowed and most went in my "clean up later box". I noticed the other night while scrubbing I had three different AJs with pin dot bought from three different sellers at very different times. Thy were so in open baggies in the box so no touching each other. Is AJ prone to pin dot for some reason or is it just a weird thing that happened?

She's an older pony so I imagine her plastic is more prone to breakdown more quickly... as the bromides and plasticizer separate from the PVC, it leaves "pores" in the plastic, which easily fill with surface dirt and debris. Even sweat and oils from your hands can transfer. :)

I have found that AJ is quite prone to pindot unfortunately :(

My childhood AJ has pindot as well!!

I honestly cannot say that I have ever noticed her being more prone to it than other ponies but it is always possible. How odd to have 3 from 3 different sellers the same way. I guess Applejack is just the kind of little pony who likes to play in the dirt.

Haha, I guess that's what she gets for running around gathering apples all the time. :P
I was just surprised they all three had it, but I'll get those girls cleaned up soon enough. ;)
