So far, we've seen:
FS size, black and white streaks in hair
visitors can't see pics , please register or login
FS, pink hair only
visitors can't see pics , please register or login
Brushable size, no glitter
visitors can't see pics , please register or login
Brushable size, glitter
visitors can't see pics , please register or login
Which will see a retail release? Fair/SDCC? Other? Which will remain prototypes? Show your work for your answer!

I'm not gonna gamble on a retail release...but I will say there has been a bit of talk about glitters coming! So my bet is on Glitter pinkie being part of the fair exclusive release. ^_^

I believe the Glitter pinkie, and the two ponies with black streaks will make it to market. 1-Little girls love glitter. 2- Black and pinkie together is "fashionable" there fore liked by girls. and 3- Pinkie pie is probably the most popular pony among girls, so they want to release a lot of her.

This image is up on Taobao so I guess that means there is also a reverse facing brushable. It's getting overwhelming, but I like it!

I think that the first FS Pinkie will be a Target exclusive and that the glitterpie will be a general release in a set with Wysteria. I agree that the other varients could be intended as event give-aways.

I like the glitter idea, but I love the brushable with black and white hair the most. I hear the glitter kinda falls off the pony anyway :huh: Can't wait to see if these girls make it to the public.

YAY a Pinkie thread! Im glad someone made one, because there are so many Pinkie Pies! :D
I think Black Tie FS and Glitter-Pie will make the official release. I dont think Petal Pink two-toned FS Pinkie will make it out there. Still deciding on the mini black tie.....seems possible! Heehee I haz all 4 comin my way! :D I hope the Black Ties get released, I really love them! Cruela de Pinkie!

I would love it if the brushable size black and white haired Pinkie came out.... the glitter is too much in my opinion.

Glitter pinkie brushable will be an exclusive to a certain store. I think brushable will get a release, and FS pink (no black) will be the prototype

And I think Glitter Pinkie will get a release, perhaps exclusive to a store in a set of some sorts.
The FS without the black I think is a test of sorts, and mini Black tie? Well, I haven't worked out her place in the world yet lol. Perhaps test to see how it looks in regular size?
Either way, I intend for them all to be mine one day :lol:
On a side step, has anyone thought about whether these ponies are kinda deliberately put out on Taobao, and then customer response is in part an indicator on popularity and thus what should get a release? Coz I bet Hasbro know these things get out there, and therefore may well look and see how they go if they are prototypes and not just mess-up/errors.

The thought has crossed my mind! It would be neat if they did, I wouldn't discount it.

I love glitter pinkie. Cannot stand FS or small with black hair though, it is just so uncharacteristically MLP!

I think that black streak FS one is fantastic. Visually she looks the best with design in mind. ;3 I hope she will be released.
I just don't see it being a store release, it seems like more an an event sort of pony. I just don't know what event...
She needs a little black bow that could go on her neck, or hair. ^^

I like the first pictured Pinkie Pie, whether she is a fashion style or not I would not care. Changing Pinkie up would make her more likely to be wanted/bought as the plain old Pinkie Pie is used for lots of things and has many toy verions but not like any of these. The black I like when added to her hair.

I personally am REALLY hoping they release the FS Pinkie with the black streaks in her hair <3 She is so pretty and I would instantly buy her the second I found her. I think if she was regular brushable size, well, she would look to similar to the Pinkie I already have so I'd have to pass on her. That being said, I also hope they release the glitter version of her. I probably still wouldn't buy her since I'm not a huge fan of glitter ponies in general but I know a ton of other fans would love her in that version and it would be a super cute nod to the Crystal Empire ponies.

They're showing up on Ebay now! I saw one with a starting bid of $20.

I think they will release the little one without glitter. I got them all, and she is the only one that came with the plastic in her tail. Very weak indicator, but I think only the official ones have that ... Just a guess of course. I hope for the FS with black and the awesome bright pink hair!

I think they full body glitter one will be released with Wysteria. There are sooo many for sale right now, even less expensive than the non-glitter normal sized too. I want them all to be released, but I might have to cave and buy the Black/White hair FS one because I adore her and I would just kick myself if I missed her!

Hmm, love the glitter, love the black-streak one. Hmm, I'd hope for either of those, but that doesn't have any bearing on what we actually get the chance to buy.
I'm still just hoping for glittery mane 6!

I think there was "kind of confirmation" on the glitters.
But I agree that there are too many variations and too great a volume of them for at least 1 or 2 to get some kind of release. I am going to hope if we only get one that its the black streak FS - she is lovely!

My bet is on glitter because that will probably sell best.
But I really do like the ones with the black streak, it's really cool :D
