Title: Pony shoes!

So, my friend's getting married and has decided to make all of her bridesmaids customised shoes. I, of course, picked My Little Pony shoes. We did the first part of the customisation process tonight, check 'em out!

They need to be varnished tomorrow when they're dry, but look at them! Aren't they cool?

We literally printed a bunch of pictures off (there's only 5 different images, I just printed each off about four times), and we watered down some PVA glue and stuck them on!

Sorry to bump this thread, but I figured it'd be better than making a brand new one for the same subject!

Anyway, after we took that photo I tried on the shoes and all the pictures ripped (the leather was too soft, turns out you need harder, patent shoes to do this!). Here are my completed pony shoes, mk. 2:

I never thought to try and decoupage shoes!  Oh my gosh, I will be watching for cheap flats now!

Such a fun idea, and they turned out so very super-cute!!
