Found on taobao. I prefer the other one, but this one is nice too. No black and white in hair and no glitter on the symbols.

I like the other one better too, but this looks more like what I'd expect to be released. If they are at all.

This one is also reversed, the black tie has her symbol on the other side. The same seller also had one brushable size but it sold before my order went through. I was able to snag one of these though:) I like the extra colors in her mane:) I'm not a huge pinkie fan but she is pretty.

I think this one is pretty too but I loved the black stripe in the hair on the other.

I like the black striped pinkie better- this one looks like the black striped pinkie- with a regular pinkie head swapped on. Maybe it is.

I think the black stripe goes well with her cutie mark. it completes the look. This looks like the prototype before they went to sparkles and the black stripe.

It's not a head swap though, regular pinkie doesn't have multi pink streaks and this one has her cutie mark on the other side. I agree it was probably just another test run but I'm really curious which of the 4 variations they're gonna go with.

I like the one with the black in her mane, this one just looks like the regular release that a kid got ahold of :p

I saw her on there this morning! So many Pinkie Pies! I like her, however just for now Im holding back buying ponies until I pay a few bills. I personally perfer her cruela de vil hair style, but she looks sweet!

I will admit I liked the first one better - the black streak in her mane finished her off better but I also agree this looks more like what Hasbro would give us :P
I actually think even without the streak the black in the symbol just gives good old, continually released Pinkie a special edge.

I have a feeling it might be, but if it is collectors are going to be very disappointed since SDCC usually does something awesome. Thankfully we know it's not the fair pony. Years when the fair pony has cost more, it was exclusive to the fair. Otherwise, this could just be part of a 30th anniversary set though.

I would hold off on buying one for now- there are seriously hundreds of them available on Taobao and the price shot up because of popularity- but it will come back down- and given the numbers, this pony will definitely be seeing a wide release of some sort.

So for anybody that wants her, her starting price is only 19.99. I hope that whoever wants her can get her! (I got lucky because I found her through the seller that I just bought my type B Minty from)

We know she's confirmed to not be the fair pony, but it's still not confirmed whether or not the SDCC pony is the same as the fair pony.

We also don't know what Target and Walmart have planned for exclusives. We only know what TRU had planned and that's because they were ponies that also appeal to the show's extra demographic as well as little girls. The other stores probably just will have fancied up regular ponies so this Pinkie Pie actually would fit into that well.

Got one of the new petal pink stripe variant ! =D I grabbed her for only $28 on Taobao, she was like $50+ on ebay! @_@ no thanks ebay...

Looks like both the black/white/pink Pinkie and Pink/light pink pinkie are all over ebay and taobao now- I'm guessing one is a test run of the other, but which one? I hope they release the black-haired version, since she is more dramatic...
I too am glad I got them for cheaps...

I liked the one with the black hair better, too, but for an additional reason. That one had a glitter symbol that was very reminiscent of early G1. This one doesn't have glitter.

You are right they did. But for some reason the speculation has changed due to the increase in price - i.e. the Fair exclusive before last year was always higher because it was a proper exclusive but last year because it was shared the price dropped [or thats the theory]. It would certainly not be unusual for Hasbro to change their mind, and I hope they have, but personally I think it will be shared and the price is because its a more complex item. Or of course the price could simply be higher because Hasbro know they can charge it and people will pay - lets face it $20 for an exclusive item is super low for Comic Con. And for an item which is going to be one of the most popular exclusives even for a big event like Comic Con, I guess why shouldnt they take advantage :(
But it is ALL speculation until we get some kind of information or press release.
