Would anyone be up for a christmas in Juy swap? Basically it would be the same as the "other collections swap" but you are allowed to have ponies on your wishlist instead of just non pony items your collect.
Shipping would be about August
2 catagories - $25 and $40
If you are interestd please keep in mind - you may be looking for items that you are NOT familiar with. You MUST pay attention to your partners wish list. if I say I collect pokemon cards, don't send me somethihng from Digimon. Yeah, they are similar but they are NOT the same thing. I would be unhappy with the items and that would result in approperiate feedback

roughly what dates are you planning on running it from tiki. I have a couple of holidays coming up and it would depend on your time frame. but other than that sign me up. I always need a bit of christmas cheer early

I'd like to join again, but I am not sure about the christmas theme, and I think I'd want a higher budget. I thought $40 was perfect.

I was thinking of a shipping date either the end of July-mid august, depending on when partners get assigned.
I know not everyone does the Xmas thing but we could incorporate other winter holidays as well. I celebrate christmas but I am not opposed to looking for hanauka themed items or just wintery themed items if my partner is not into any of the traditional holidays. Im thinking by mid august, i'll be ready for winter again *hates the heat* The wintery theme, i would think would be more for stuff like wrapping paper and not so much for the items on the wish lists since its kinda hard to find christmas stuff in the middle of summer without going to Ebay/Etsy or the home made route.
I can easily do the 2 price catagory again if people are intersted in a $40 catagory.

I'll PM a mod on thrisday probably. I want to send out the box to dragonflitter first and that will wrap up the last loose end for the random swap :lol:
It's basically gonna be another random swap but with a theme of winter in summer..unless your in the southern hemisphere. you guys throw a wrench into my theme :P

I think Very Merry Unbirthday would be a neat name. Somehow "Christmas in September" just doesn't have the same ring haha.

I am sorry but I'm afraid the mod team has decided to decline this swap at this time. There is concern that the swap levels are too high so we would prefer you not host it at this time. It may be up for reconsideration at a later date.

Ok, I am confused as that is exactly the same levels as you did last time. Oh well, they must have their reasons.
Personally I'll wait and keep my figers crossed that there will be a random section in this years holiday swaps!

Maybe they will give it another shot later on :) if they aprove it for another time, I'll be sure to slip in a request to join. I've learned my lesson about the previous swap, and I am trying my best to redeem myself.

I do wonder if our MIA person may be a part of the reason. Daiyu had higher feedback for selling/trading then quite a few other participants -_-. But Yuru ended up with a sweet box in the end from all the people who volunteered to help Mia send a replacement. :biggrin:

I should be able to make a page where you need to apply so it is NOT open to the public but it would be a pain in the rump because most people use their real names on FB not their user ID so telling who is who would be a challange.
