I was wondering if this board game from the 80s is worth anything? Collectible? I've only found two on the internet, so it's hard to judge. One is on flickr, so no price is mentioned.....the other is on eBay with a starting price of $15, but no bids.....

They are super cute but not super expensive. If open but complete then the $10-12 mark could be about right. But often they will go unsold as they are not all that cheap to ship due to the box size.

Thank you Hathorcat :) You're so helpful
I'll probably keep mine in that case.... It would be nice to give it to one of my nieces along with Fifi, but I have the postage issue too, as they live in New Zealand!

No problem :)
Unfortunately its something that quite a lot of merch and heavier or larger items can suffer from - that shipping actually reduces their value, due to the expense of posting it on. So people are unwilling to spend more on the item when they are about to pay high shipping.

It doesn't surprise me.....It's one of the reasons I'm not trying to sell most of my toys. A lot of larger items like Fisher Price toys. The postage would be too expensive, and I haven't got the patience to figure out how to package them! Steamer is the only childhood toy I have sold! But he's nice and small, and light, and easy to package! So it's win win!
I did send a cuddly toy Pink Panther to America though....and when I came to package him, he ended up looking like a mummy!!! It made me realise that even an unbreakable item isn't easy to package!! He did look funny though lol.

I had that when I was a kid! I wish I still had it, but I took it to school for the rainy day cupboard. :(

I also think it's a fairly common board game. I've got this game and have also seen it elsewhere

FoalPatrol! I got mine in New Zealand too :)

I do agree that at best they're around $10-12, and shipping them can be a definite issue with merch of this size. I do have one, but I picked it up at a carboot (thereby avoiding the shipping problem ;) )
